Are there going to be dyno charts or 1/4 mile time slips for a stock fit with this kit installed?

The Base kit will be non-intercooled. There will be an intercooler upgrade available!
The Base kit will be $3495, and will release this December/January... For real!
High-boost kit will release shortly after Base kit. Pricing has not been announced on the High-Boost kit.

Dyno charts and final HP and TQ gains will be available from our new website in the next two weeks.

I apologize for the delay, but its worth the wait!

Excellent! I'll definitely be considering this kit.

If I opt out of buying the intercooler, will that cause any ill effects to the engine life? or is it just a power adder?

Is the intercooler like the huge turbo ones where it won't fit without taking out the stock fog lights? or is it smaller and tucked away? retail cost on the intercooler upgrade?

Intercooler upgrade will not be available upon first release of the Base kit.

You are completely fine with no intercooler.

Pricing for the intercooler has not been announced.

is the base kit going to upgradeable to the high boot kit later on if i decide to use the base kit initially?

Second question: is there going to be any tuning of the ecu or whatever that is going to be required like most turbo applications to keep from putting to much harm or wear on the motor?

Thanks,
92dxhatch!

I've heard the S/C kit requires removal of the AC unit? Down in florida I don't think I could do without it during the summers!
I tried reading through the thread but with 13 pages I could have easily missed it...
So, sorry in advance if this has already be asked/covered. Thats pretty much the deciding factor for me to get this or not - I know everyone's going to have one of the many turbo kits that will be released soon and I'm hoping that, while still popular overall, the Kraftwerks kit will be a little less common overall.

Just a stupid question the intercooler option will be front mount or side mount?? Since SC usually not require with supercharge, so will you guy produce the side IC for this Kit???

There will be an upgrade path to the High-Boost kit.

Fuel Electronics are always standard with our kits, and require no additional tuning.

Automatic Fits will be able to get the Base kit.

In no way have we EVER stated that the kit requires removal of the A/C. We love our A/C and could not do without it either.

Intercooler would be a front mount. The intercooler upgrade requirements, pieces, price, etc. have not been announced.

JDM piggy back ECU's don't work with USDM cars as of yet especially with AT due to them having the 7sp CVT tranny. So the HKS and top fuel kit isn't going to work properly.

T1R kit is in production and won't be available for another month or so. I have yet to hear the exact release date as of yet.

I'm keeping track of them in detail since i sold all my NA stuff already to get the upcoming turbo kits.

No you are wrong! If you read carefully, HKS actually requires you provide where your car is made & years in order to pre-tune the ECU for you!

Such in China, the auto is not 7sp CVT and is 5sp CVT same as what is in US.

...isn't the CVT meaning it is a variable tranny like the civics right? i have the sport and it feels like a regular 5 spd, but this is my first auto, so what do I know...LOL

Plus getting a turbo kit from Japan would cost me closer to 5k then the 3.5k suggested retail we would get a US kit for.
