yes, the car will run the kit all day with stock internals and it will pass emissions.

diedwater: rotrex's have been used a lot in the land of the rising sun. the technology is new-er, but its only brand new to us.

thanks! just wanted to clear it up.

the fact that you said those setups sucked is more than proof of you lack of expertise.

better gas mileage with a turbo? sounds like its YOUR internals that need tuning.

education is key my friend.
LMAO...im sorry and you are? I placed 4th in NHRA sport compact quick8 last year and placed 4th or better in sfwd multiple times years before that. Built and tuned multiple 10 second n/a honda's. Built and tuned multiple 9 second turbo honda's. All which have won major events.
Ill let the trophies speak for themselves.

I think I'd agree turbo is the way to go for your application. But most people aren't gunning for your hobby.

it's the intarweb man, just chill dude. No one knows who you are, if you are trying to be somebody, do it in real life....

just a lil update tho, I drove a hks fit, and the throttle response is actually pretty good, I think I'm still leaning towards Turbo + a Throttle Controller...

we are just discussing theoretics here.

and if you want to discuss facts, you never worked or raced a ROTREX type supercharger.

nor have you even bothered to look into the design. there are a lot of closed minded people, such as yourself, that have trophies.

but you don't them to discuss things. i guess things are supposed to hold more weight because you are a certified tuner? bring something legit to the table and then mabye people will take you seriously.

with the level of degrees and knowledge both of you guys are boasting of possessing, don't you two think it'd be worthless to have a pissing contest over the internet?

I won’t even bother going into the degrees in physics I have.

well it does prove one thing mr. hooper, and its that you don't have the education or enough physics degrees to admit when you have no experience with a particular type of forced induction.

you don't have to go into the logistics of turbos or what you have built. no one is denying that.

i just have a hard time swallowing someones opinion as fact when they have never actually used this type of F.I. or seen it in action. yes, you have seen centrifugal superchargers, but this is different. as someone with a degree in physics, you should know about variables and how small differences in things can have BIG changes on outcomes. (so why am I explaining this to YOU?)

i'm just sayin man. come back to us when you have personally worked with it. you could be right in the end, but your assumptions are unbased and stupid.

I will have to check out this CTR Dyno Sports place the next time I visit family there, just in case I manage to take the boost jump next year.

hey if everyone else is going, why the hell not.

i think the general consensus is:

1.ultimately the turbo will make more power, because quality kits are readily available.

2.ultimately the kwsc will be more reliable, but its potential has yet to be tapped. (remember, only one size rotrex has ever been used on the fit.)

3.artieman is a douche.

I thoroughly agree on all points.

Also, MY T1R KIT ARRIVED TODAY!!!!

I've got 77 lbs of TURBO GOODNESS in my LIVING ROOM!

Now I have to wait a WHOLE WEEK before I can start the install..

Sorry, just felt like I had to tell someone..
