I just purchased a 09 fit sport with AT. The handling is great but the power 0-60 is a little lacking. I just want a decent boost in power for daily driving and commuting. I was wondering if it was a loss cause looking at one of these kits for a AT Fit? From the reading I have been doing it seems that the KWSC kit may be more in line with what I am looking for. I wanted to know how would the S/C kit would work with the AT 09 Fit?

it has an integrated exhaust manifold, a la r18 civics, so it will be awhile before its put into development.

the jacksons have already expressed interest, but they are not even done with the a/t kit for the 07-08's.

you have a LONG time to wait my friend.

Perhaps the 07-08 kit will result in a faster (to shipment) 09+ kit -- surely there are lots of similarities.

I still can't decide. Would it be cheaper to get a K20A2 since that's around the same price as a turbo?

It depends what you're looking for. For me I could barely handle the added weight that a turbo kit brings let alone a k20 swap, plus for k20 you need all the money upfront where as turbo you can slowly build it up once you have the turbo.

Plus rods, pistons, and a boost controller cost less than an NA oriented performance parts for a k20, and have more power to be gained.

You know i usually chuckle when people call k20fit "drag queens", but a boosted k20 is that plus about another 100 lbs. with that much weight it'd basically feel like a VQ35DE swapped Fit.

plenty of ways to remove 100lbs from the front of the fit
Plus if your acutally using this as a track car there will be a rather heavy roll cage adding weight to the rear...

Spoon roll cage won't fit usdm Fit's only RHD cuz it's made to wrap around the dash and since the left side of our dash sits out further than the left side of a RHD Fit you'd have to cut into the dash to fit it. Plus i'm pretty sure roll cages need to be welded in if you're actually racing.

I dunno about that man. The site I saw it on said GD3. I'll call them when I want to order it and ask. It would be awesome to have, combined with GT Spec trunk cage and J's X-bar and c-pillar, and Mugen front strut bar, Tanabe underbrace, Progress RSB, T1R lower arm bar.....god damn I need a lot of suspension bars lol

I hate to say it, but the J's Racing X-bar won't fit either check "jdm parts fitment report" on the Aj-racing forum on here they tested it. You'll notice that there are a lot of US companies that sell jdm parts without actually checking to see if they fit.

so what's our chassis code? We have GD3s....and someone made an X-bar work on here. I don't see what wouldn't fit about it. Someone would be smart to make one that works for US Fits

I don't think they were J's x-bars. Miracle X-bar I think it was

the miracle x bar was on a jdm fit at N1 concepts. and the spoon cage wont fit because of a few reasons. anyways, it would be the same price, if not cheaper to get a cage made custom.

call around to a few different metal fabrication shops. tell them what you want (i.e. how many points, welded in or bolted in, etc.) get some prices and try to find other cages they have done to look at them. take your car in, let them do some measurements, they will make it, then put it in. done deal. and it will cost you probably less than the spoon cage plus shipping.
