Anyone using a 51r battery with this intake?
I need a new battery, and I dont want to go
to the stealership. It seems all intakes out there
were designed with the factory battery in place.
so you can't install a 51r...

Are the PRM Systems for the Manual trans only?

works for automatic and manual. filter cleaning is same as any K&N filter, using k&n filter cleaning kit.

THANKS for the info.
My Issue at this time with all the current intake systems is that they used oiled filters.
I am not a fan of those. I like disposable due to not having to wait for the filter to dry as well as risking over oiling.
Will have to stick with oem box for now or until I find a no oiled system.

there are two options from AFE, they have a non-oiled intake system, and also an OEM non-oiled replacement filter (AFE Pro-Dry S Air Filter). I have tried both! Currently using the AFE intake system wtih non-oiled filter. If PRM made a non-oiled filter, I'd choose PRM just by a little over AFE (based off the PRM sound :-P only, performance gains are similar)

fujita is non oiled. I clean mine every 10k or 2 oil changes. but i leave it at that. I used to have an oiled filter on my ole civic. and when I took the metal pipe off, it was coated in oil that was pretty daft! i dont like that either.
