the Fit Dynamite is currently on display in HK & i think they are selling them for 1,850,000 HKD which equates to just over 300,000 AUD...(dunno exchange rate between HKD to USD)

A socal K20/Fit swap should be finished very soon

I am waiting to see the cost involved before I buy my Fit

HAsport should release their mounts soon too I hope....the price of Kseries motors will spike if these swaps are made affordable --- but K23T swap is the kicker

CSX Acura turbo awd coming soon to a dealership near you

damn!! dats alot of money for a car like that where i live, thats like 90,000 BHDinars, i can by Honda S2000 for BHD13000 and still modify it which wont cost me for than another 5k and still buy me a Honda Racing Bike for BHD 3800. Thats just ridiculous for that price of HKDollars 1,850,000

I would think the entire exercise would be a tremendous waste of time and money. Why not just put an LS1 into an Integra Type R?

Unlikely. How many Fit owners are even interested? A fraction of the number of 92-95 hatch owners for sure.

I beleive that with enough money and time you could make the fit a street dominator. Given its weight and the possble performance capabilities why couldnt it run with the RSX's and Eclipses of today. I dont think a K20 swap is necessary, which in my point would undermine the entire reason that you bought the car (gas mileage). The Fit is a great platform for a great performance car with great handling. A nice suspension setup with a number of bolt-ons, and a turbo setup with some internals should suit the fit just fine. Any engine can be fast you just have to know what to do to it. I think dropping in a K20 is an easy way out, without truly finding the hidden potential in the Fit. But thats just me.........

Huh? Mickey P fronts with a torsion bar rear with drums an open differential and a 1.5L single cam non performance vtec 4 is a great platform for a performance car. Dont get me wrong I just got one and its fun. But its no sports car. Its a nice ecobox with good mileage and a non shat interior. A real performance car will crap all over a fit... K20a or not.

The fit weighs in about the same as an EK and an EK with a Kswap runs low 13s and high 12s with some slicks so the fit should dial in around the same time. The only difference is the weight distribution. An EK chassis is a little closer to the 50/50 weight distribution that everyone wants but this just means that you will need to work a little harder on your suspension tuning for autocross or you can have a nice street/drag car since about 65% of the weight will be over the front tires.

The engine that is in the Dynamite is from the Kingmotorsports Speed World Challenge RSX. with the R&D that Mugen does, i'm sure it has been on an engine dyno prior to delivery.

as far as modifications, if i had to guess, a slightly more aggressive cam, full valvetrain, a lil head work, some more compression, & good engine management
