Good news, I spent a couple of hours today "tuning" my car;

I logged my AFR for you guys to have a look at;

Pulls are taken in 2nd gear from about 2000RPM to 7000RPM Redline.

OLD GRAPH (AJR Tune, was for different parts)
Notes: I did make some modifications between 4000rpm & 7000rpm because AFR was at nearly 10.0; lol you can see where it jumps up a lot near the higher RPM's. But basically you guys can see my car was running rich as f-ck

NEW GRAPH:
(Notes: I did smooth out the top end since this graph was made, it does not climb back up again as this graph shows)

The basic tuning philosophy I was using was to try and get 14.7 for cruising & partial throttle conditions; however in these graphs which were done at WOT I was aiming for low 14's for lower RPM's and then low 13's for the RPM's which VTEC engages. 3.1 is supposed to be the max power for WOT in those RPM's (or so I am told).

Anyway, this is my first attempt at tuning. Judges?

Car does feel more peppy. It lost that sluggishness I was feeling when I was accelerating before from a stand still. The real test will be how it performs when I finally line up my Dyno... one more thing to do before I can dyno; just need some tires for the new rims!!

looks a lot better. it looks like it was losing power mid range in the old graph

i'm looking foward for the dyno

Picking up my wheels TODAY!!!

Dyno is tenatively scheduled for MAY 17th

I am going to try out 3 different E-manage maps for the Dyno, I plan to record the A/Fr charts with the LM2 throughout the pulls as well for maximum information

I found the old map was boggy as all hell off the line, had good mid power between 4000 & 4500rpm and then kind of died out in the upper bandwidth.

Technically 6500, but the fuel gets cut off at closer to 7000rpms. I usually don't hang out anywhere near those RPM's though.

The AFR graph is in seconds of recorded time at the bottom, not RPM's

It used to be, but it sounds like people had issues with it leaking so the new one is a one peice.

I have a thread with some pics if you want to have a look;

Also, an update for the thread; my new wheels!

i'd almost rather have a 2-piece and not have to drop the subframe. then put some liquid weld crap on it once it was installed to seal any leaks.

Glad to see you got things worked out! From what I've been taught, 13.7 is right around lean maximum torque, which is where you want to be with an NA build like yours. Have you played with timing? You might be able to give it a little bit, but if you want to do that you'll probably need to up the octane rating. I run 93 or sunoco 94 and it's never more than 1.50 or 2.00$ more per tank. Just throwing that out there.

There's a lot of power to be made in ignition timing. Are you running stock plugs? Or have you gone with colder ones? NGK heat range 7 will probably increase your knock margin, giving you a little room to bump timing, irrespective of octane.

Looking good, though, man! Get that bitch on the dyno so we can see what a PROPERLY tuned NA beast can make!

EDIT:
also, you know you can up the rev limiter with the emanage ultimate right? That might net you a little bit when (not if) you decide to go for cams. It's an addiction, you know.

Some good idea's, I might have to look into colder plugs and see what I can make happen with a mid grade or premium fuel.

So you are thinking that 13.7 is the ideal WOT A/Fr then?

I am not sure about the timing, originally AJR had been subtracting just a couple of points between 2500 & 4500rpm's. But since that tune I have removed a lot of fuel on the new map, all my boxes are minus @ WOT now. It almost seems like I should be advancing the timing, but I am a bit scared to do that.

I still haven't seen anybody come out with cams or heads for the L15 yet, I would love to see some more aggressive Naturally Aspirated options come out.

Catcams has upgraded cams, valve springs, and retainers for the Fit.

CATCAMS Introduction page: the pearly gates to engine power!

EDIT: WTF is AJR removing timing from your car on an N/A setup. That makes no sense unless there was something wrong to begin with.
