Weapon-r manifold = |

The manifold is of good quality, this is the first case where it has failed like this. The injen intake system is run through the stock air intake hole and is rigid. None of the other CAI's are run like that and even with my Fujita I found there was a lot of movement at the filter end because the engine would pull back and pivot the entire CAI on the mid-mount...
This is bound to happen to anybody who doesn't leave sufficent allowances in for movement with ANY product... not just chinese made american ricer brands
I've had WR products and they were fine.
so a total of 2ppl have cracked the manifold
mine isn't crack YET...and i hope it doesnt
but the quality of the product is so shitty to be honest !

Did you bolt it down in the rear behind the TB? Maybe it's just because mine is the prototype, but there's a place to bolt the IM to the engine right behind where the MAP sensor is. After a few months, I noticed mine was sagging like that too and realized that I hadn't bolted mine in there. I pulled it back into place, bolted it down and now it sits perfect. I think the reason mine sagged was because the weight of the intake slowly pulled down on it since there was nothing to support the weight of it on the upper part of the IM. Especially when the IM gets hotter, I would imagine that the metal would be more malleable

No there is no bracket to bolt down to the rubber mount on the block,and the IM gets so damn hot!!! I can tell when the IM gets hot because i notice loss of power!!!!!!!!!!!
did you have mounts for the intake?
i can see where the rattling from that intake to the throttle body would just break the weld. must have not had a corner to corner weld and did a sealing job so the weld was really thin.
there is not alot of weight on that manifold so it should not sag that much. mine is crooked too but it doesnt bother me.

Having the Welds break is looking more common due to the fact that the Engine sways a lot. If you got motor mounts of a torque damper, the chances of the Manifold breaking will lessen by a lot. I've broken mine before and with strong material welds. Got motor mounts now and is now holding.
Well i got my manifold back and its better than new! BUT!!!!!!!!!!!! they didnt even bother to clean it out, Yes they polished it but i found metal shavings and other types of dirt,When i called about my manifold they said it was ready to be shipped so i decided to order their intake, I tried to install it and of course its WR lol it came with the wrong coupler and i couldnt use any of the brackets that it came with but i was able to use some of the things laying around that i had. I drove around and i do like the intake!
Only if you have something to tune it with, When i got the manifold back I messed around with my F/ic and i made it run 12.9 AFR at WOT and i felt way more power then when I was running 13.2, But i think the intake manifold makes good power at way upper RPM's and loose a whole crap load of torque.

and if you are doing FI, even a low pressure system, I'd be very concerned about the durability of the unit. I went through a set of fluid tanks from them and I won't lie it was a huge amount of bling to have under the engine bay and I thought it was the most awesome thing to ever have. It took about a week to realize that they were exactly that: show parts.... show parts that weren't sturdy enough to get you to the grocery store and back. Less than 200 miles and the welds were already failing from the heat and pressure, all of them were already bulging. Eh, it turned out to be shitty welding, too thin of side walls and no baffling or structual support. I haven't heard anything bad about their headers so they've done something right but I will never trust them again with anything that if it failed, it would quickly take my engine with it. I say thumbs down to the manifold.

if this can happens to one , soon somebody will follow
