It's way under that price.....as soon as I get the numbers they require to start the orders I'll send a massive email to everyone interested and brief them on what's going down

There are no stupid questions here....

The electrical system (ECU) is mirrored and maybe some steering components...that's about it!

Attention!!!

Just to keep you all in the loop, we are quickly approaching the number of requests needed to start development for the cam(s) and gaskets. Thanks for PM'ing me and if you haven't already PM'ed me with EXACTLY what you want please do so ASAP.

Please be sure to indicate which CAM option....

Ok guys . I am a Bisimoto engineering dealer and I just got off the phone with them.
They said they are not currently producing anything for the Honda fit.. however if there is enough interest, meaning serious buyers, they can produce parts for the Honda fit such as camshafts and intake gaskets.

if there is enough interest, they would like to direct something like this through a dealer.

Am I reading it right? A brand new cam for just under 400 bucks?

I would definitely buy one "when I'm out of warranty". IDK if this counts me in to the list. LOL. If it can be considered, I'm in!!

For which L15 is the company thinking about working with, the older generation or the newer? Or will think of developing a cam(s) for both types.

I think the first thing we need to do is generate a list of 20-30 people *SERIOUSLY* interested in a cam (i.e. willing to make a down payment).

Once we have a group organized, we can have a frank discussion with Bisimoto to talk about cost...both models may use the same cam (this would be easy to verify by looking at the part number(s).

Also, if we have a group of 20-30 we could negotiate with Crower, Bisimoto, or Blueprint manufacturing. I think everyone is interested in exploring the potential of the L15a, however, these companies just aren't willing to swallow the R&D costs...can't blame them.

So, who's on board? Add your name to the list and let's get this going...

Let's stay focused for the time being...

Once we get a cam manufactured and prove there is a market for aftermarket Fit components it will be easier to get these companies to diversify their R&D.
