That in itself is something we can already do for you guys!
You just need to send us a cam core and we will get you taken care of!

So when you re-grind the cams do you provide shims to put under the HLAs to bring them back in spec?
How much lift can you get away with on a unmolested head and block deck?
Do you leave the low rpm profiles alone, and just work on the high rpm lobes?
Sorry for all the questions

Also, you have another PM when you find time/answers
Some beefier connecting rods and wrist pins paired with some nicer rod and main bearings (3/4 grooved maybe?) like ACL/Clevites would be pretty slick.
Tool steel rod bolts, main bearing bolts/studs and a girdle would compliment the cam grinds and valvetrain too! Especially for the folks who plan on getting an FIC or send their ECU in to a group like RCA in singapore to reflash and raise their rev-limit!
I could just go on and on..

Edit : Would Bisimoto source/manufacture and brand your own pistons or would you find a distributor if there was enough demand in the future?
Thinking about just making some phone calls tomorrow... but does anyone know if Wiseco or Mahle carry L15A pistons? Mahle will make almost any piston you want and they definitely know what they are doing, as they are used in many severe duty OE applications.
For a little more than $600, per my request they created some nice superlight (IMO) like ~320g/each, 0.5mm overbore pistons and rings, and as raised the wrist pin 6mm, bored it out 1mm, 9.5:1CR (OE was 7.8:1) and included grooves to accomodate .5mm oversize valves and high lift cams. They had a couple sport compact specialists that I spent a couple hours discussing things with like PTWs for a given application, and even provided rings and a range of recommended gaps.
Took about three weeks to ship though, but I don't know if that was just because they were busy or someone in their supply chain screwed something up.

We would definitely design and carry pistons, but we likely would not manufacture them ourselves as we currently cannot do such at our facility! But rest assured you would have quality parts built specific to your application!
I am serious guys, if you want or desire any parts from us at Bisimoto Engineering we are more than willing to help you out!

That would be a question for Bisi, he has all the knowledge lol! But again we would do your profile to whatever you want! So if you want power all across we can do that, if you want power only in the upper range we can do that as well; we can do whatever you want its just a matter of actually getting us a cam to work on!
I concur, from what I have seen the pistons/rods seem to be a particularly limp factor of this motor! With this in mind though we actually can do some pistons and rods right now if you were interested!

Let me know what you find out regarding my last two PMs!
That is the key component I am concerned with, and easily the most universal and affordable setup considering there are several manufacturers that use that MHI 4 bolt flange, and there already exist T3/T4 adapters.
At first I will be testing the stock rotating assembly for the first few months of my turbo experiment.
Then I am going to pull the pan to inspect everything, and decide if I just need to refresh the bearings and simply throw in some slightly lower compression pistons, with slightly looser PTWs and adjust the gap on the rings. Or if I will have to go full forged assembly.
Wiseco makes pistons for the Fit!!

...and CP too!!
CP Pistons Forged Pistons Honda L15A VTEC (Fit/Jazz) 2.874 (73.0mm) Bore / STD Size / 9.0:1 Compression Ratio
For the rods, i don't remember who but somebody makes them too!!

How much in duration and lift changes can be done to a cam shaft for a KWSC 10psi kitted L15A without additional tuning being neccessary..... The kit includes a Hondata reflash that is et up a bit rich out of concern for safety and engine longevity.. That in itself my be sufficient for a relatively mild cam with moderate increase in lift and the rev limiter is reset at 7100 RPM.. I'm staying tune in to see what you can pull off... Best wishes and Good Luck.
+1. I want the same thing and will be sending you a new oem core.
Hey Joe,,, What means of tuning are you intending use to adjust the A/F ratio an ignition timing to benefit from the cam change.... Also if the the cam isn't ground for low end grunt power and makes power on the top end, what will you do to reset the rev limit.... There is going to be a drop in compression caused by the extended duration of valve opening, do you plan on increasing the compression ratio if the cam duration is for top end gains or adding boost?
well right now I want to see the cost. I would super charge it. However this is only if the total price is good. In comparison to my K swap. Just getting info
My heart is set on K swap but I would love to spank ass and then pop the hood and there's 1.5lts growling at the competition. lol

If I can get my body and mind to function well at the same time I will be doing more to my car.... There are still many things that can be done to make more power with the KWSC kit but there is controversy about the abilities of the AEM F/IC to hold a tune on the Fit ECU... I suppose a call to Hondata might be in order but some of the controversy is the reason that KW had to go with Hondata for the tuning for the kit.

last night a few of us were talking about, well, cars and that statement was in topic... how uncool it is to brag about how you smoked a FIT with L15 motor, just no honor in it. The FIT on the other hand with it's L15 smoking a more potent car/engine... now that's headline. And the other good part of having a FIT with it's L15 is that there's no shame if your ass got whopped... you have a very good and valid reason... "it's just a FIT"
