KWSC High Boost Comparison

I'm sure it's a nooby question, but I've been searching around for a bit and have yet to find a definitive answer. I'm in the market for a new car, and I'm loving the Fit's body, but I want something with a bit of pull.

So the question is, how hard does the Fit with the high boost SC kit pull compared to say a 2009 or 2010 Civic Si?

Any youtube videos of a Fit's speedo, full throttle using the High boost kit?
Also if anyone knows what's the average 1/4 time for the Fit with the aforementioned kit?

I am not looking for a race car, just something with a bit of power when I feel the need for it, and would like to see what the Fit would compare to.

Thanks in advance, any help is appreciated.

^ Ditto. But to answer your main question...

Have you thought about comparing the two by their weight to power ratio instead of relying on a video of a quarter mile or 0-60 run? The reason I suggest this is to eliminate variables in a test like this such as driver's skill as well as others like gear ratios, suspension, tires, etc.

For example: A stock Corvette Z06 has been tested by Motor Trend and ran 11.5 seconds in the quarter. Meanwhile, other people are managing to get their stock Z06s to run in the 10s. All due to the variables of the driver, track condition, weight (due to fuel), and more.

:: Z06 Corvette :: Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06 Specs Photos | Stats
^ Link to find Motor Trend's 1/4 time.

Corvette Blog: Stock Corvette Z06 has 10 second 1/4 Mile!
^ Link for the 10's.

Anyway, back to the main topic at hand. The high boost KWSC Fit vs SI comparison.

A stock M/T GD3 is rated at 109 hp at the crank and typically puts 93 hp to the wheel; meanwhile, a high boosted KWSC and Skunk2 catbacked M/T GD3 makes 163.7 whp which to my calculations makes approximately 191.86 hp at the crank if I cross multiplied and divided correctly.

Now, I don't have a clue on how much the entire high boost kit weighs so lets just say that it adds an additional 40 lbs. to the M/T's curb weight of 2471 lbs, so 2511 lbs. If this were the case, the weight to power ratio would be approximately 13.08 lbs to 1 hp at the crank.

For the case of the 2010 Civic Si Coupe, its curb weight is 2895 lbs and it rated at 197 hp stock. So, its ratio would be approximately 14.70 lbs to 1 hp at the crank, so a high boost KWSC Fit has the advantage.

a KW high boost or turboed fit will be a good race for a stock SI. id say it comes down to the driver.

I'm actually looking more towards a 2007 or 08 just for that reason.
@Hootie: That info helped a lot, thank you.

Any other opinions and info are appreciated too.

1000 lbs of people is night and day (even 300 lbs is huge)

KWSC high boost is very strong... New 5.0 Mustangs with manual transmissions get small in the rear view mirror very quickly, I promise.

Yeah, I am running a Honda Fit with Boost, and this Motha runs awsome. Smokin all kinds of stuff, the fit is nasty with Kraftwerks Boost. Major pull out of the turns, and plenty of runnin the thing hard. With Turbo boost, you run it hard and you can have mojor problems but with Kraftwerks boost you never have to worry about that its cooler air than turbo and motor lasts longer do to the power only needed at any time you want. Easy to install.

It is a good thing, isn't it? I have heard so much talk about how fast the Accura RSXs are and I suppose the guy that had pulled up beside me while I was coming home from Dallas that down shifted and blipped his throttle had heard how slow that the Fit was... When I put the go pedal down it looked like he might as well have shifted into reverse.... My son has a very nice TSX, it wan't as strong as my Fit was before I upgrade with the high boost kit... I am reluctant to tell anyone what the top end speed is but it is safe to say that you don't need to shift to into 5th gear to walk away from another Fit that has topped out in 5th gear... Anyone that thinks for one second that a Fit can in no way be a fast dependable performance car would only need to spend a few seconds inside of one equipped with the KWSC High Boost Kit.... I have owned and driven a lot of fast cars in the soon to be 45 years since I gotten a drivers licence and none of them has offered as much trouble free driving pleasure as what I am now driving.... +KWSC=Outrageous Fun.

0 to 60 happens in 6 seconds... That is with having to take it easy in 1st to not sit almost still as as the rev limiter kicks in and on 320 tread wear rated tires.
