Once in boot mode you can read your ecu file....
But then you need a software to change your file.ori!!!
You have to know what to change, of course... and how to check the checksum finally!!!!

I think Bosch ecu is for the Diesels. It would be cool if I was wrong. http://www.dimsport.it/admin/images/...2f35f634ec.pdf

I bought from a friend of mine a light version of the original software
My car is a Jazz idsi 1.3 year 2005 (L13A gasoline, not diesel!). I don't know what kind of ecu does Fit have, but I think that if it's a bosch you can reflash it in the same way!

Once you can reprogram your ecu you can do whatever you want.... ignition, fuel, closing egr and, the most important thing: adjust LAMBDA sensor...

Lambda is fundamental because otherwise the ecu will set all your changes to original values.... (even if you have bigger injectors or aem fuel ignition etc...)

I think that reprogram the ecu is the best and final solution if you want to modify your car! I thought it was impossible untill some months ago.... instead we can!! When I asked here in Italy for tuning my ecu everyone told me they had to unsolder the eprom inside the ecu to reflash it and they asked me about 350-400 euro for this kind of operation.
I succeded in doing it for about 150 euro instead.... with the possibility to adeguate ecu's parameters everytime I modify something other..

The GE ECUs, at least here in Japan and I am pretty sure in North America are not Bosch units. That is most likely an EU only ECU.

Great alf, I'll mail you for more details.

Sadly this unit Bosch is NOT the same ecu used by GD3 Fit. BTW even the connectors do differ (so I have a boomslang harness around...).

HTH
