Jackson Racing please....
soooo um a few questions: First will the tranny be able to handle the load?(for the automatic) Second (sorry I never force induced a car) will we need to get it tuned or is it just bolt on btw im intrested in the 5lb boost? Finnaly since it is a s/c and its a constant force how will the wear be on the internals(vs a turbo)? srry for the ? jus curious thnx!
Not sure about high temp trans fluid, it is generally held that ONLY ATF-Z1 should be used...what type are you suggesting? But a trans oil cooler is an absolute must, and isn't too difficult to install.
By the way everyone, looks like JR has a new site up and running, although it is a bit sparse:

I'm still wondering about the orientation of the charger...in order to get it to line up w/ the belt drive, I just don't see how they are mounting it. I wonder, are they using a driveshaft and putting it where the air box is?? This doesn't jive w/ the pics of the kit though.

You can kind of tell how it would be mounted up. I don't think the rendering is completly lined up according to the engine, but you can tell it would be mounted in front under the intake runners, no driveshaft.
This benifits over some of the other kits out there like the scion tc vortec charger. In the newer scc mag, they do a build with it and the entire system gets completly heatsoaked by the headers, really kills performance.

I looked under the hood...I don't think they can put it in front under the intake manifold....the only viable spot is behind the engine on the drive belt side...there is a small cavity there. And it makes the most sense, considering how the intake tubing to the TB is shaped.
Those who saw the install at the meet care to input?

I can't believe I'm showing up to this party so late and to think I was pretty much dead set on the AJ-Racing turbo kit on my Sport A/T...hmmmn, decisions decisions.
Credit card is ready to roll, I know what I want for X-Mas!

Just got back from SEMA last night. I have pictures of the system, the headers, and a million other Fit parts. I'll try to get everything posted soon. And yes it mounts on the right side of the engine near the bottom.

I would appreciate seeing the dyno on the 5lb kit. The 10lb kit dyno indicates a substanial increase in hp at 3500 -4k, how much of an increase does the 5lb kit produce at this rpm range?
TIA
PS How & when can we order this kit?
Jackson Racing web site doesn't appear to allow online ordering and Summit Racing doesn't appear to list Jackson Racing as a vendor that I could find?
it is the fit header they have on the site. Its Ti and unbelievably light, not carb legal and no cat though. they have a legal shorty header that keeps the cat and its being made by doug thorley headers. Its nice, coated inside and out with ceramic. Pics in a little while I promise
Here are the thorley headers, really nice stuff here.

Here is the whole jackson kit on a L15. those are the Ti headers and they are amazing

here is a cutaway of the blower itself so you can see how the drive unit works, its pretty damn cool

here is the hasport fit with the k20 mounted, notice the front crossmember cut out for the manifold. the car isnt running yet but it will be as soon as the wiring is finished.

Here is hondas own fit hot rod concept. I have more detail shots of this car but I have to get something done before the guys get back from sema tomorrow.

I will have more photos and updates from sema tonight when I can get everything else edited and uploaded. I have a ton of stuff though so if you are currious about any one thing in particular, ask and I will see if I have a picture of it.
