Hello all I have reading the Fit Freak site for awhile in my search for a new vehicle but this is my first post. I just purchased an 09 MT sport and love it. I took it out to the mountains to go boarding the other day and received a couple rock chips so I am going to go in to get a deflector. Just wondering if anyone knows if the gas mileage changes at all with the different airflow over the hood?

Thanks

No change at all in gas mileage- just far less dried bug guts on your windshield and rock chips on your hood. This will be the best purchase you can make in an accessory for your Fit, as far as value for dollars spent.

Thanks. I am on my way to get one. I only have 1000km on mine and like I said in the previous post I already have a few rock chips. It will be nice to keep the bugs and rocks off the hood.

I've had the hood deflector for a year now and I have yet to notice dead bugs on my hood or windshield. Although I live in an urban area so not that many bugs flying around that I can see.
