Trying to decide between the GD or GE
Pretty much like the title says I'm trying to decide between the GD -07/08 and the Ge 09-10 both Sport MT/ while trying to keep to predetermined budget for this purchase isn't the easiest thing to do.
Okay so i'm a noob and i don't know all the in/outs of each generation of the FIT quite yet but looking for someone who dose really trying to make the correct decision before i purchase.
Is there a user who can point out a few things like why they choose one over the other. My goal is reliability long-term is one model better or are they pretty equal in that respect, or are there a few awkward things to be looking for on each? Thanks in advance

I'm very familiar with both. Here's my thoughts in no particular order...
- GD seats are way more comfortable
- GD is much easier to work on since motor isn't under windshield cowl
- GD handles better, looks better, and is more fun to drive
- GE is quieter and rides smoother
- GE has more aftermarket support due to being newer
- GE is much easier to find in good used condition due to being newer and maybe more of them made
Mechanically, as far as durability, I'd say they are identical.
Drive both and see which one you like better. In the end, it's probably most important to find the right used car.
