What do you WISH you had known before buying your Fit?

Hello all. I am in the market for a new car and the Fit has caught my eye. I have read the FAQ thread with the glossary of terms (very helpful) and I have searched the threads for a few questions. (E.G. I now know that the Fit Sport will control my iPhone through teh USB plug!) I wanted to thank you guys for posting such useful info and I wanted to ask a few questions:

1) What real world MPG do you guys see? I am looking at a Sport AT w/Nav which the EPA sticker says is a 27/33/30 (city/hway/combined).

2) I keep reading about the "headpiece" that people use to control their iPods and Iphone with the USB javk, but I con't find a thread that describes what this headpiece is or how it functions. Any links you can send about it would be much appreciated.

3) The main question is: "What do you WISH you had known abotu your Fit BEFORE you bought it?"

Thanks again!

1) on my 5MT i get about 34-35mpg consistently driving it spiritedly/ on my 5AT (2009) wife's getting 35-40mpg depending on the length of the trip.

2) no idea

3) how it reminds people of their late 1980's early 1990's civics we had which were fun to drive. shouldve bought one earlier.

Thanks for the feedback. I had one of those hatchback civics in "champagne gold" color. What fun!

yah, the moment i drove the Fit it quickly reminded me of my 1990 civic hb. that still remains one of my favorite cars.

with all these hopup available these days in the US (back then sportcompacts aftermarket stuff especially imports were almost non-existant) you can quickly make it into a super fun machine.

For me, I wish I would have known that I wasn't going to be getting 40 plus mpg like a lot of people are getting. I'm consistently getting 32 MPG with probably 80% highway/20% city.
