Wow didn't realize the fit stock radio was that powerful.

 

Nope. The factory radio puts out roughly 8-10 watts RMS. Some "premium" OEM setups like H/K, Mark Levinson, etc.. get closer to 20-25. Most aftermarket radios that abide by the CEA2006 ratings are roughly 22-26 watts RMS. Generally peak power is double of RMS.

 

Either way, i'm upgrading to a nice double din stereo when I get the money. The double dins looks so much nicer then the stock radio. Thanks lashlee.

 

I'm such a dork, that I'd actually rather have a single din and use that extra pocket for stashing stuff, haha.

Seems like crutchfield is limited on what I want.

I'm running a Single Din Kenwood Excelon KDC-X996 with 2 12" JBL Subs. Even before I got the subs in, the difference was night and day.

 

do you save any money paying for it on-line as apposed to buying it from say best buys or costco's
