2013 Low beams not working, high beams work

Hello!

My better half is currently hundreds of miles away, driving through CA and her low beams stopped working last night. High beams work just fine!

I am going to look at it when she gets back, and I was curious other than Fuses, what do I need to check? I've seen this issue affecting Pilots whilst Googling, and wasn't sure if it's the same thing or not and couldn't find something on here yet outside of DRL relay. I'm more of a Subaru guy and am still learning how all the Honda stuffs are interconnected/linked.

Any suggestions are helpful. I can't walk her through anything remote, she's not mechanically inclined in the least.

EDIT: Evidently I sounded like an idiot in my original post. Low beams turn on for a split second then off immediately.

Have you changed the bulb?

Replace the bulbs, they can burn out constantly depending on the brand and price point. Including the low beams as they are used more.

Not sure why you would jump to fuses first.

She let me know the low beams turn on for a split second and turn off. In my experience, burned out lights don't do this hence my original post which I JUST NOW got the ability to edit my post - sorry I couldn't do so earlier.

She returned last night and just looked at the car today, verified the low beams turn on for a second then turn off. High beams turn on. Fuses are good so am suspecting the switch. I should also just get a new set of lights anyway and swap out, but I've also never had a set last less than a year and I replaced them back in August.

Bulbs can for sure burn out within a year. The bulb quality and also the install can greatly effect the life of the bulb.

Y'all were right. It was the headlights - thanks all! I'm guessing one side had failed at some point in the last few weeks and wife only noticed once the OTHER side failed.

In my defense; in 20 years I've never had a set of Silverstar's NOT last at least 18 months. 7 months is ridiculous. At least now I've read the small print on the back of the package, which I will keep along with my receipt, so if this set fails prematurely I can escalate to manufacturer.

2013 fit, electrical is great, seals are great, casing great, lights installed wearing gloves, no leaks or anything that really should cause any electrical issues. Nowhere near the 140 rated hours driven in 7 month either.
