Any Aux 12v jack installs?

I'm looking for ways to add a few extra 12v accy/lighter plugs in my Sport. I'd like to put two at the bottom rear of the console, and maybe a 3-way splitter on the front edge past the trat and existing lighter jack.

Anybody have pics/tales of this kind of thing?

Thanks!

its as simple as going to walmart, buying extra cig/acc sockets---drill/dremel out the spots AFTER checking for adequate clearance behind---mount the socket---the outer tab is chassis ground so u can run a wire to any nearby bolt---the center pin/tab is either 12v acc or constant depending on your preference---find these at the fuse panel under the dash, the ignition swith or tap into the existing acc outlet---the latter of the 3 will limit the amount of current draw you can place on the circuit though so anything more than a couple of phone chargers will be pushing it---if you plan to run dc/ac converters or other higher amperage items youll want to use a fused battery source to a relay triggered off of the acc circuit.

Thanks for the input. I have done a lot of aux wiring, most of it for wiring up 2-way radio and the like in my other vehicles. I was looking for something more like feedback from someone who had already installed some 12v extensions or additional circuitas in the Fit and might have some info on what worked and what didn't. I should have been more specific.

?? ive done them in countless other cars. there is no difference. what will work is anything really as long as the spot behind where you want the socket is deep enough to accomodate it. are you wanting someone to tell you exactly what wires to tap or something?

The only difference is that I was looking for feedback from someone who had installed them in a Fit, not just generic information. If someone had done this already I would be thankful for some pics or other info.
