under dash foot well leds need help

bought a couple strips of white leds i want to set up under the dash in the foot wells. I want to wire them up so that they turn on when the doors are opened and then shut off when the doors are closed. what is the easiest way to go about this?

Wire it in line with the interior lights. The ones that turn on when the doors open like you want. Obviously they are being fed a 12v from a switch that is activated when the door is open. Sounds the easiest. Don't have my wiring schematic on my work computer or I'd link you.

Use this thread. Just locate the plug with the blue and pink wires. They are the wires you want to connect to. If the lights do not work reverse the wires.

Just use some 10-12" LED Chinese strips from EBay.
