t1r coilover install

I currently just installed the t1r coilovers, and the top mount portion just does not seem to be right. Does anyone have pictures of how theirs sits and how you put the oem bushings onto the coilover. Also should the top mount be loose and shift around a lot? Im actually a tech a Honda so im not new to this, however not used to this design of suspension

if i can remember correctly:

above the tower:
rubber cap
nut
washer
rubber bushing (flat side top)

below the tower:
rubber bushing (conal shaped, narrow side top)
nut
factory metal hat (with bearing inside)
spring hat (if your coilovers came with one)
main spring

hope this helps.

Please let us know how you like the suspension. I'm guessing you're going to use it for auto-x/HPDE? Or is it just to lower the stance?

If it is for auto-x/HPDE, what spring rates did you end up going with?

Yes it is for Auto-x HPDE. I went with ben's advice and just stuck to the stock 6k 6k rates. If i need more rear spring i will just order them up, its a 10 min swap. Ive just been around town and a few on ramps but balance seems pretty good, though its hard to tell on the street. You def dont want to go much stiffer in the front or you will hop over some bumps in the road.
