J's racing might still have a few but I was just informed that the fit line of lsd are discontinued. Unless Im mistaken the ge8 lsd will work.

They really dont take up much extra room. Go look at a few pictures on the old D series lineup, seeing as they are the closest honda motor in size

What about M Factory? .... also OP, why do you want to put in an LSD? What other supporting mods will you have? On an otherwise stock car with an LSD...... maybe better accel if you turn off the traction control

I am doing the following mods next week:

1) Enkei rpf1 15X7 wheels with Dunlop Direzza zII tires 205/50-15

2) Swift Springs

3) Progress rear sway bar

4) SPC front camber bolts

5) Alignment to get -1.5 front camber and zero toes all four

6) Brakes brakes brakes, tire rack does not list any of Hawk brakes pads
do you guys know if the ones from 2007 models ( Hawk HPS or so) would fit on 2013 model??

So to answer your question regarding why I was asking about LSD...I am just thinking that LSD would improve cornering performance!? May be not the case in Honda Fit?!
may be unnecessary or overkill modification for the fit...I am not sure.

Thnx

I think lsd is overkill, instead I removed the rear seat yesterday, 7 bolts out in less than 10 min! Lol

Limited slip necessary w/117hp? While autocrossing when we have a spinning wheel more times than not the air pressures to high.

Exactly.

Car will be WELL setup with your list of mods, but take that money from the LSD and spend it on a good helmet and either a driving school or a few seasons of AutoX and a track day or two.

I have near the exact setup going on my GF's 2012 which will be doing both daily and regular AutoX use.

What is your planed use for the Fit?

That is the ticket! Keep doing the "free" weight reduction and you will see the most gains. Look up the "Biggest Loser Fit Edition" thread on here for more ideas.

TPColgett,

Thnx for the input.

This car is my daily driver, I love driving, I am like a kid going to theme park when I get in almost any manual transmission car

I actually use my Mustang Boss 302 for all the HPDE & autoX

No serious plans to take my Fit to HPDE , however I might do some occasional autoX

I know a bit about AutoX

Boss 302? What class do you run it in? A stock? Guessing ESP if your having fun....

The Fit is actually a GREAT AutoX weapon! It "fit's" best into Street Touring FWD class, where you can run up to a 15x7.5 rim and 225mm tires... You would have to put the rear seat back in to be class legal though Still, most bolt on's are legal (Intake, exhaust, bucket seats, springs/coil overs, camber bolts.) Give it a shot and I bet you will be surprised!

On her 2012 we have not changed a thing. Honestly, at least for AutoX the OE pads and system really aren't that bad. With the Fit's weight and less than 100hp at the wheel you shouldn't be braking much anyways

I ran 75K+ and countless events before going to HP+ pads in my 2008 GD. Even then I only did that because I got a deal on them and want to be able to attend a few track days this year.
