I just bought a 2017 Fit EX. Love it, but would like to downsize my 16" wheels to 15".

I'm getting conflicting info on Fit wheel sizes. Edmunds says the LX wheels are 5.5 x 15, but WheelSize.com says 6 x 15. Also I would like to know the actual offsets for LX 15" wheels. (I can verify my 16" EX wheels' offsets by inspection.)

Just use the same width and offset as stock 16” wheels.

Thanks, that's a neat idea.

Oh, just for the record (anyone) what are the actual width and offset of the 2017 LX's OEM 15" wheels?

Pull one of the wheels off the car. The size and offset will be stamped somewhere on the back of the wheel (probably near the bolt holes).

Uh, I don't have the car. As I stated mine's an EX.

I know, but if you have the LX wheels in mind that you are curious about, someone can look at the back and get the info.

What is your reasoning for downsizing to 15” wheels? Since you say you want 15” LX wheels (as opposed to wider aftermarket ones), I assume it’s not for performance reasons. Therefore, any small differences in offset or width are really not going to matter.

I could only assume your suggestion was directed at whomever you quoted in response, i.e. me. I appreciate the clarification!

I too am interested in putting 15 inch wheels on a 3rd gen GK fit. As for your offset question our fit uses offset numbers between +35 and +45 for wheels between 15 and 17 inches and beyond that would be case by case. I was wondering if anyone knows about mounting wheels with a width of 8 inches. The tire for spec B, the now defunct (I believe) SCCA class for our vehicle, is a 15 inch 205 so it is my belief 15x8 +40~ is absolutely able to be run on a lowered racing GK fit. I"m wondering if anyone has experience with this meaty setup and if so did you have to delete the fender liners?
