Exclamation HFP WHEELS @$106/wheel!!!

HOLY CRAP!!!

So i was looking at wheels for shizzles and giggles. I drive my car very hard so it is important that the wheels clear with no problem through out the suspension travel. I was going to buy some rotas but the offset seemed a little aggressive. I REALLY wanted the enkey RPF1's but they offset i found them in was +41mm, so that was a no go. Then I googled 'honda fit HFP' and I found a website that carried them for $106 a piece! I scooped up a set already. Just thought I would share.

Painting/Powder coating HFP 16in

Has anyone looked into getting the HFP rims painted/powder coated?

I've been reading these forums for months now, and am in a conundrum
To rub!!! or not to rub

So, now for my question is there a reputable place (I'm in HB) to get this done with the 16in HFP rims?

They would look "sweet" in matte black on my semi-dropped GF210 white Fit...
or am I just wasting my cash, and the paint will flake and look stupid?

BTW You Fit owners have been a great source of information, and I thank you for the posts that have helped me in my quest for a nice sporty ride...

I agree the gunmetal does look good, but that's the thing I'd like to distinguish my Fit and have zero rub rub....
So, I will most likely be on the hunt for a place to do it....

thanks my Fit brothers for the input.....

If I get it done I'll keep you posted....

Great!!!! between my new Callaway FT-5 Driver $450 and my Fit, my wife will be throwing me to the curb soon

Plenty of reputable powder coaters in OC. Olympic and Embee Performance (both in Santa Ana) come to mind.

Anyone know the difference in weight between the stock 15s and the HFP 16s. I like the look of the HFPs but I don't want to lose any performance with a lot of added weight.

it wont be enough for you to be pissed for the upgrade. Many people here look for light wheels, light this and that, but while you have your Fit for just transportation, they wouldnt be a problem at all. Theres a confusion for the weight of the HFP's. Some say 20 lbs. others 17.5 lbs. Either the weight, it wont be a lot of added weight; stocks sport wheels weight as close to what mentioned of the HFPs.
By the way, youll be adding an inch for the wheels, but youll have to downsize the tire to a 205/45 .smaller tire=less weight

Uncle Dickie,
if you are handy and don't mind working out some elbow grease, you can paint them yourself for under $60-70! Key is in the prep. It won't peal off if you sand them down and take your time.
If not, you may as well powdercoat them. It is more durable than paint.
I painted mine on the Fit and powdercoated OZ's on my CRX 15 years ago.
Fit's are holding up great so far.
Which ever route you take, good luck and post some pics!

The HFPs are heavier than the stock Sport rims thats for sure, and my guess is by at least 4 pounds per rim.

And there is no way a 205/45-16 tire weighs less or is smaller than a 195/55-15. The same size diameter yes, but not smaller or lighter.

dont matter all those numbers youre putting there. what i meant is while youre putting in a smaller tire it will be less heavier for your steering, and that is for sure. i kinda forgot the tires will be wider since the wheels Hfp are 16x 6.5 I may not know how explain it to you by words, but ive grabbed both tires, and the /45 weight less...
