Been wanting rims for awhile now & stumbled upon these rims on tire rack. Wondered how it would look on our cars. Haven't seen them on a fit yet. So please post pics if your rockin them.

The C1Ms are designed for Spec Miatas and have a lower offset than the normal TRM C1 otherwise they are basically the same 15x7 wheel. Here is a picture of the C1s on my GD.

Damn they look sick! What's the specs on yours? An what size tires you running. I heard you can still run them, just need 5mm spacers.

Both sets of mine are Light Gray, 15x7 with +42mm offset. No spacers needed, using a 5mm spacer will lower the offset to +37mm. Depending on your tire size and/or suspension setup you could rub if that were the case and more than likely would need to get extended lugs to compensate for the 5mm spacer.

For tires, I have 195/55R15 Yokohama Avid ENVigors (in picture) on one set and 205/50R15 Yokohama Advan Neova AD08s on the other.

As for the C1Ms, again they're designed for Miatas. Their offset in 15x7 is +30mm and weigh is 13.0 lbs according to Tire Rack's site where as the C1s having 15x7 with +42mm offset weigh 12.8 lbs each.

Did you have to bore out the center to make the Miata spec ones fit? I remember hearing this through the grape vine. I'd prefer a 30's offset instead of a 40's, but tirerack pushes you towards the 40's instead.

Thanks!

I'm not using the C1Ms so I wouldn't have any knowledge on what to do regarding them. Sorry.

All right I think i'm sold on the c1's, how much lighter are the wheels compared to the stock GD rims? And did you notice any difference driving? mpg? i'm dropped on eibach sportlines & wanted to know if ill rub since it's an inch wider?

Thumbs up

Hootie, is your ride lowered? I've been thinking to get these rims for a while but I might end up rubbing as I'm lowered on eibach prokit...

Nope, not yet. You should be fine running the C1 (not C1M) with the Eibach Pro on a GD3 running 195/55R15 tres.

I haven't put my set with the 205/50R15s yet but there is a more likely chance of rubbing... If memory serves me right, the general rule of thumb for offset on a GD with 205s on a 7 inch wide wheel is as low as +42mm stock height, +45mm lowered.

Hi, sorry I missed your post. I forget what weight of the stock GD Alloys are and haven't had those wheels on after having the car maybe 5 days. haha

The TRM C1s are 12.6 lbs each if I remember right and you will notice a slight difference in acceleration and braking due to the loosing 3 to 4 lbs of unsprung weight per wheel (if you are reusing your previous tires [and TPMS sensors if equipped]).

As for fuel economy, not sure... Its something I quit caring able long ago. As for tire rub, I wouldn't know due to still running stock springs and shocks along with not knowing what tire size you'll be running.
