Straight carbon will be offered, in fact I should be getting a couple shots of one that is just carbon soon. The main reason for the carbon kevlar was to see how it matches up with the red paint.
The good thing is that this part came out a little over sized, so a little adjustment to the mold should take care of most of it.
I had to change the shape of the scoop a little too. It looked nice but you wouldn't be able to open the hood because it hit the scoop. So a little reworking and things are getting back on track.

So you will be making a scoop in carbon kevlar? I have a MR fit and i love how it matched and would like to get my hands on one if offered. Otherwise regular CF would be fine. Also i will be leaving in a couple days for the rest of the month and was wondering if i could prepay for a scoop so i dont miss out on my chance of getting one. You can PM me if you would like. Thanks in advance

Here is just a quick update on the scoop:
I pulled the first fiberglass part from the mold this weekend and now hopefully the test fit will go well and carbon parts will be on their way.
I will put some back mesh over opening too.

so i know im a bit late on this. but everyone on the boards has been bitching forever that they want a spoon duckbill style spoiler with stock mounting posts so make that happen and youll sell tons of them no jokes.
Sox is right. If you made almost any type of CF spoiler that used the oe holes you would have a monopoly over them cause nobody uses the stock holes. Also the scoop is looking great. I cant wait till they are released. Anybody know if this will clear with the AJR hood damper installed? Im not sure how high the hood goes with it installed.

Alright, here you guys go. I've got pics of the cowl piece installed:

A special thanks to Rouge Fit for the awesome test product and test fitting.
As you guys can see, the quality is TOP NOTCH! Beautiful CF!!! Absolutely love it! The fitment is really good except at the very top where it's slightly off. However, in Rouge Fit's defence, this is the demo/prototype product so i'm expecting the final product to fit better.
If anyone has any questions, i'm more than happy to answer them!

Since i've got the demo/prototype piece, it's jsut held in with double sided 3M tape. I know that it will be strong enough, since the tape is redonk-ly strong! I'm not sure if the final product will have tabs or not tho.
