Disable auto lock permanently- 2012 fit
NOTE- I apologize if this has already been discussed elsewhere on this Forum.
Soooo... Is it posible to permanently disable the auto door locking/unlocking feature in my '12 Fit 5MT?
I understand the rationale some maintain that that is not a god idea - point taken.
Again, is there a way to stop the automatic door locking/unlocking feature?
I don't mind cutting wires ,either.

This is what I did.

This is from memory, so forgive me if this doesn't work:
- Insert key and turn forward 2 clicks (don't turn engine on).
- Press and hold the door lock button to its "unlock" position.
- After 5 seconds you'll hear a click. DON'T LET GO YET! Wait another 5 seconds until you hear another click.
You're done.
