$3k Cosmetic upgrades
I did roughly $3k upgrade when I first bought my Fit in '08.
Unfortunately the wife now wants to sell it for something new more \ SUV like b\c the Fit was not the most reassuring on curvy roads and hills in the snow and ice.
Other than that it has been an awesome car!
Here's what I did and a link to the original post for some pics if you want to see the leather replacements and such.
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...om-ad-ons.html
BOM Interior Trim (body color matching pieces here and there)
Leather interior
Heated Seats
Console Arm Rest
Door Sill Plates
Auto remote Starter
Side Mouldings
Window Tint - Ceramic based doea a great job blocking the heat.
Venture Shield Clear Bra
Tow Hitch
Fit LED 3rd brake light

Quite a bit, just my suspension was 3x the club's entrance fee. I have never added it all up, no point in doing so really.
I like the others that spend their money on their car do it because they are passionate about it. I know some spend and don't really utilize those parts, this is something I will never fully grasp, but I do know we all can't be the same. For myself, I love to abuse what I purchase versus having it sit looking all nice and pretty.
I also look at it like this, I and the others contribute in keeping the aftermarket alive. So those that would question why, instead, say thank you.

^i know how that feels. It's probably the last thing myself or my wife needs to know lol.
I'm glad this community exists and I'm not alone in this. Although maybe it's partially because everyone else is doing awesome things to their fit that I've been drawn in.

I bought my 2007 Fit base in May, 2006 and drove it to California for AEM to use it as their test vehicle for the cold air intake. A few weeks later I drove it back home and it stayed mostly stock with the exception of Enkei GF1 17 wheels. In July, 2012 I bought a 2012 Civic Si and decided to start playing with the Fit. Below is probably an incomplete list that I'll try to update as I remember stuff:
AEM cold air intake: $free, minus gas from Arizona to California and back
DC Sports header: $free because AEM took longer than expected with my car
Megan Racing catless downpipe: $147
Zerg Industries Check Engine Light eliminator: $5
Megan Racing midpipe: $253
Tanabe Medallion axle-back: $350
Progress rear anti-sway bar: $186
Tanabe front and rear upper strut tower bars: $121 each ($242 total)
Tanabe 2-point front underbrace: $103
Random c-pillar bar from HondaFitTuner: $44
T1R hood damper: $130
Tokico blue shocks: $433
Progress springs: $155
LED taillights: $91
LED third brake light: $120
Modulator for third brake light: $6
Mugen replica lower tailgate garnish: $90 (plus $188 paint, $278 total)
Morimoto Mini (35W) Stage 3 D2S (with X lens) projectors with square Gattling Gun 2.0 shrouds: $325 (replacing Xenondepot 6000K HID conversion: $300)
7440 to 7443 front turn signal switchback conversion: $76
Honda Access center console: $340
JDM map lights: $55
JDM driver's side (USDM passenger) sun visor: $63
JDM red hazard switch: $28
MDX/Pilot light assembly with on/off switch for cargo area: $13
Shifter knob heat protector from www.wiggyshifties.com: $7
Sony XAV701HD head unit (including adapters/harnesses): $625 (replaced USASpec BT35-HON bluetooth: $141)
Kenwood KAC8105D amplifier: $200
Clarion 12inch subwoofer: $Unknown
LED interior lights: $176
Zeta dead pedal: $57
Non-illuminated door sills, RacerMount (I still have yet to buy the GoPro for it), and front/rear black JDM-type H emblems: $216 (don't EVER buy anything from kPlaygound - they suck and will send you the wrong crap and then blame it on you)
FlashPro: $695
eTune from Vit Viper: $95
Keyless entry: $110
C-mod badgeless mesh grille: $80 (from Honda Fit 2007-2008 Mesh Grille - C-mod Grilles and it didn't fit correctly and now they lowered the price to $60)
Grand total: $6145USD. I'm too poor to K-swap it and it has too many miles on it to throw on a discontinued KraftWerks supercharger (or a turbo but I'm too lazy to maintain that), so I think I'm pretty much done.

Damn, Dwils. I wanna see some pics!
And a ton of miles doesn't mean it won't be able to handle the KWSC, I mean, I'd rather turbo it and work on some internal stuff like forged rods and pistons, and try porting the heads just a bit.

I've got well over $2,000 X3 in stuff I've yet to install.. None if it is eye candy, just stuff to make it go fast, handle well and not fly apart.. I did buy a members smoked tail lights awhile back, a trick looking front bumper with fresh paint job, J's grille, retro HIDs and black headlight housings. I guess I do have some eye candy. The noise and lack of comfort gets to me on long drives, but using more throttle helps to get places sooner so I don't have to be in it as long.. It's always been fun to drive on curvy farm roads with lots of hills and wildlife and rednecks in pickups to dodge.. There is getting to be a lot of new folks building multi million dollar homes and driving Range Rovers moving into the area. They drive down the middle of the narrow 2 lane roads to but aren't out much at night. The cool night air feel nice too me and my car seems to have more power so that has been when I enjoy my Fit the most.. I recently bought a Passat 2.0T Wagon to use for more comfort on long drives.. The Japanese have yet to build a car or motorcycle that fits my body as well as even the smaller German cars.. The 6 speed automatic transmission in sport mode is fun to use when bored.. It's pretty quick for a 3600 lb wagon.. I figure my Fit will last longer since I also have the wagon to drive. They both get about the same fuel mileage.

I would love to post some pictures, but this site requires me to link to a photosharing website like flickr or photobucket and I don't have one of those accounts. Another forum I'm on gives the choice of uploading from a website or uploading from the local computer.
I have about 107000miles/172200kms on it and I really don't feel like blowing an engine because I boosted it too much. Plus I can never get a straight answer on what the kits come with and if I need to swap in a better clutch and fuel rail and injectors, etc. I'm also really lazy and don't want to take the time that a turbo would require to maintain it. I also don't want to keep on changing the oil every week in the supercharger. And I'm too poor and dumb to port stuff or swap cams or heads, etc.
