yea , even VW cancelled the golf , they're only importing the GTI and another high performance variant , the R ( $41,000 )
Of course not in the US, but in other parts of the world apparently the HR-V can be had with the 1.5 turbo. Probably not a bad little rig with that setup.
Hello Fit Freaks. A couple of months ago I bought my second Fit, a new 2020, EX model. The first one we bought was a 2007 Sport model in May of 2006. My wife drove the 2007 Fit until 2015 when we gave it to my son. I bought my wife a CRV EX to replace it. My son drove the Fit until April of this year and it only had 104,000 miles. I traded it in for a 2020 model. Sadley, Honda will not be importing the new generation Fits to the United States. I assume that the HRV will be updated soon and replace the Fit because they are built on the same platform. Finding a 2020 Fit was not that easy because there weren’t that many left on dealers lots. My wife wanted a white one and we found one at Honda Cars of McKinney. After the purchase the salesman said, “See you in 14 more years”.
Other than normal maintenance, the only repair we had on the 2007 Fit was to replace the engine computer and one cylinder’s spark plug and capacitor. My local mechanic found a computer used on eBay and replaced it for $350.
Although the Fit is gone from our shores there will still be a loyal group to keep up the discussions here.
