haha thanks for playing. so i had some plants in my car today from the office so kinda took the drive home gently not to knock them over. it was an enjoyable drive.
this week traffic is not so crazy because i think a lot of folks are already taking vacation time. but there are MANY distracted drivers rear-ending each other. i mustve seen like 4 accidents today.. stupid people ramming into people.
and it seems like the holidays just pisses people in crappy cars off even more.

car related but in 1/10th scale. remembered yesterday to check the storage voltage on my 2S lipo's. i check every 3months to ensure they dont drop too far... meaning no lower than 3.8v each cell.
one pack had dropped to 3.76v each which is still acceptable but much too low for me so quick charged it at 1.75x the amp rate to 3.9v so that it'll settle to about 3.82-3.84v in about 15min's time. i have storage charge mode but dont use it. next inspection will be march.. haven't even built the kit i bought several months ago.. will work on it during the holiday break.

Packing sucks! It will be worth it since we are embarking on a family vacation, but I hate packing. Going to New Orleans for a bit of sight seeing and then getting on a boat for a 7 day cruise.
Our next step will be to test fit luggage into the Golf. It's not looking good though. I'm betting we end up in the Lincoln. I prefer driving the Lincoln, but don't look forward to it sitting in a port parking garage for a week. The Golf I can park there and not care. Whats a few more scratches?
I miss my Crown Vic for that. It was my airport/garage/daily that I beat without any care and it liked it. Had just enough mods (3.73 gears, Cobra differential, custom program, etc) to put a smile on my face while scaring those around it. Performance wise, it was OK. Luxury wise, it was not.

nice! have fun out there. yah, parking your beloved car in those parking structures is a pita. sounds like a good time to get those roof racks and box for your cross country trips in the Golf..!

2 more days at the current office and we are out of there for good! need to get the new office parking key cards... hope they have them ready soon. really want to see how the new parking structure is like as it will determine my GTI's fate.
on the menu today.. motoring to work and back in my GTI and help pack my team's stuff.

What kit do you have that you havent built?

6 hours left today, 8 hours tomorrow before a nice long holiday weekend. Ugh, I need to take a vacation too. New coworker has never heard of email & insists on using his phone for EVERYTHING, while shouting into the phone; dude is driving me insane.

hey shinjari! i bought this funky Tamiya kit i was going to build with my kid called the Suzuki Jimny or something that pops wheelies and stuff for bashing. same chassis as the WildWilly2.
yah, HR noted they will let us know about the access to the new office tomorrow so if i get the keycard i will stop by there on the way home.

if too many ramps and dips = look at getting the NX, trade GTI
if flat but too narrow and door ding fever = keep GTI
if super nice, ample parking space = wait for DSG GolfR
