got the R knob installed again on the FitS. letting the thread lock dry over night. it was pretty terrible on the way home with the stock knob. cant imagine how people use that crap...they are definitely missing out.

I love my stock knob on my Civic. The older stock knobs are nice as hell. Feel great in your hand compared to most after market. I agree though, Fit stock knob blows.

TOOL- yah, honda's knobs are usually pretty good. Not sure what happened with our Fit's... But I suppose mine's 'fixed' again.

Wooo, washed both FitS's and Hydro'ed.
Cleaned the interior but did not vac. Looks
good enough for now.

I got the leaves and dried worms off the sills.

I think tomorrow if it's nice out, I'm going to paint the backend of the factory muffler matte-black. Thing is so buttugly I need to hide it more.

So the plan for today is after I get back from motoring my Z, going to do a full QD on the Z, then touchup chips on both FitS's to prep for winter.

Then spray paint the GD's muffler (may need to heatgun it to dry...chilly today).

Then go sell the GE's cargo cover to a local FitFreak and that's probably all car things I got time for today.

Did all the touchups and painted the GD's muffler. Heck, my GD looks pretty damn good with the blacked out stock muffler.

Since there's no cut out for the exhaust tip or anything, can't even see the ugly now! highly recommend it.

Thanks again for the awesome deal on the cargo cover ken. So i decided last night that i wasnt going to install the flappy part with the snaps. The thought of having to go through all that trouble just to cover up that minor gap seemed impractical to me. And the whole thing with having to poke holes into the seats of my brand new car really put me off, so i figure id take your advice and just simply recline the seats back slightly to cover it up. Still looks great and it looks like it might actually be more comfortable for folks in the back.

hi Dee- thanks again for buying that cargo cover. yah, i have both my Fit's with the rear seats reclined back all the way and my kids like it that way too.

when i first got the GD i didn't know the rear seats reclined another notch so i was like
the hecks with this gaping hole between the cargo cover and rear seat!!! hahaha.

Hahaha!!!

So today went by in a flash again...

Didn't really get to do any car things, just work work work work... But I did get a chance to look at my garage while taking out the trash and chuckle a little bit.
