rainy morning here... hope it dries up a little bit before end of the day.
im surprised how well the Fuzion ZRi tires are still sticking in the
wet at 50F. typically in these temps summer tires tend to
loose grip but with its Uni-T no issue.
when it does loose traction at its limit it's very progressive
so i can easily modulate the throttle and braking without
any sudden surprises.
still haven't gotten my winter set...

my wish is granted... its sunny out.
hahahaha.
this is good cause i need to open the garage door to
do the rear camera wiring on my Z.
i can do it with the door closed but it would be pretty
tight stuck between the garage door and rear bumper
and all the dried dead worms down there...

so my wife was telling me she met her cousin's husband the
other day. and according to him and my wife's cousin, he's
a 'carguy.'
so my wife asked him wat he drove expecting to be some kinda
sports hatch or coupe or something fast since he is a doctor.
he drives a Lexus RX330 lol
ummm...wife said she almost
cracked up when she heard it.
then she proceeded to ask him what he liked about cars...like
does he detail, does he do mods, etc. you know, based on wat
i and all you gearheads here do with our cars.
he said 'nothing really.'
man... wat the hell's going on in Japan? wat happened to the
real car guys that love motoring cars?

yah, thanks for your understanding.
so last night i wired up the rear camera on my Z, also interior LED under the seats.
got the new rocker switches this am
so going to wire them up tonight.
i need to figure out a way to remove the factory dummy rear
fog lamp still... the bolts turn with the thread locked nut so
there's really no way to remove it. lol
i think im going to
put a small drill bit into the bolt, hold it with pliers, and use
my box ratchet to remove the nut.

Yah, it's very convenient. The Z has a lot of blind spots so it helps.

after cutting that nut to remove the rear dummy foglamp housing
(the black thing in the middle of the rear bumper) i
found that i had a lot of metal dust particles in my throat
and nose. lol
it was kinda tight down there and my
rotary tool was like 1ft away from my face while i cut.
i gargled and blew my nose... yuk.

Raining again and chilly at about 45F, still the Fusions are grabbing the wet very well.
I'm now kinda curious how it would do in the snow.
lol
But with all this rain slow drivers are causing all the accidents. Yes, not the fast ones. Slow ones causes most people to get irritated causing them to do manuvers ending up in accidents.
Slow drivers, stay home or yeild to the right lane. Slow driving does not mean safe driving! YOU are making conditions very dangerous.
So, this weekend I need to decide what I'm going to do with the GE's tires...temps falling possibly light snow next week.
