went on a relaxing (yet kinda spirited at times) drive in my G and was very enjoyable.
something about this car that makes me feel very relaxed.

after the drive, i did a QD and didn't really do much after. hahahaha. did laundry
as usual and played my piano for an hr or so, played with the kids, napped, snacked,
and now checking out the forums.

going to have some supper later on, play more piano, planout our living room with
new furnitures and stuff we're getting for it, etc. with the wife.

going to motor my Z tomorrow morning.

Went motoring in my Z this am, was a good drive. QD'ed afterwards.

Weatherchannel is saying that we will have some snow showers mixed in with rain this week. Not sure if I want to hibernate my cars just yet. I don't mind a little dry salt on my car as long as it's not wet snow that sticks to the car.
(salt alone doesn't corrode much, but not sure about the liquid crap they spray some times).

On the panels I can just use Griot's SprayOn CarWash. Will see now it goes.

Going to run some errands this pm in my FitS.

after driving my G and my FitS over the weekend, it just pushed back my plans again
for my next dd... first off, my G is just too damn relaxing to motor on the
weekends as my weekend touring car. and to me, there is just no other car on this
side of $75K that looks this nice.

also i dont think there's any AT car that can replace the pleasure of driving my
workhorse FitS. if i ever decide to "replace" it, i think it's going to be a STI.
it must have a MT and preferrably a 6speed and needs to be a 5 door wagon.

ok, so another f-king day at work and i am stressed out. im happy
that my team is helping me out on several areas so i shouldn't be too mad, but
as a manager pushing sub-projects to be done for the major product launch that
is due only months away, i need to meet my own deadlines and milestones.

i coudn't do that again due to more documents my customer had to throw at me
today.

looking forward to my drive home in my FitS. man i wish my day job was as
easy as vacuuming the house with my dyson. yah, that's my house chore for
mondays... hahaha.

On the way home got stuck at a railroad crossing due to some accident or something...traffic was backed up like 5 blocks and so I pulled out my blackberry and used googlemaps to find my way around it.

this is when I wish my car was AT so that I can hold my bb in one hand and drive. Well, I did just that but had to shift so was kind of a hassle. Hahahahaha

Maybe in the future car ill get a nav.

So this am coming to work (yay, last work day for this week!) I approached a construction zone in a 2 lane road. One of the const guys had one of those STOP/SLOW flip signs.

Anyway he had the sign with the STOP facing us so we stopped and waited. No cars coming from oncoming traffic. We waited some more. The guy's yawning and looking at us like WTF are you looking at.
We are looking at him like WTF are you doing?

So then a few seconds later he finally noticed that the sign was showing STOP on our side and quickly flipped it over.

Hahaha! wakeup buddy!

Was a busy night yesterday in the rain... Like afterwork getting a call from the wife that she needed to be pickedup at grandma's along with the kids because the younger one was sick and throwing up everywhere. Hahaha. She didn't want him throwing up in my 09.

So we left her car there and drove home in my 08 + bucket. although tight, my wife is slim enough to fit between the recaro child seat and booster seat.

Need to go pick it up today. Kid's doing better. Has a fever but he's talking and loves eating ice. So that's good...keeps the temps down, he's getting hydrated.

Will see how he does this am. I'm going to HomeDepot with my older son it looks like...

Pickedup the GE this am from grandma's and on the way home, I noticed that the bottom cover under the steering column rattled over larger bumps. Werd.

Going to fix that later and also will put the snows on (WS60's FTW!).

Were expecting some snow showers tomorrow.

gotz the snows on and washed up the factory wheels. they are now drying in the
garage. re-torqued, pressured up the tires, and gassed up the car. it's ready
for snow. hahaha.

going to homedepot later on in my FitS with summer tires. i still haven't ordered
my snow tires for my FitS... i want to see how the Fusions do in the snow... i have
a feeling they would be better than the junk ziex912 i had last winter....

did a 8hr organization in the basement yesterday. i had A LOT of empty boxes from my music gear thinking i should keep it a few months just to make sure they weren't defective... few months passed and i forgot about them.

so broke down the boxes(except for the huge ones which i know i can't buy locally) and vac'ed the basement, re-organized, and made room for the kids to play.

our basement is pretty big, enough for kids to run and play...get some exercise in the winter time.

had some turkey my wife bought locally. not a turkey fan but it wasn't bad. my trick was that i was STARVING from all the work i did, ate very little lunch so everything tasted good. hahaha.

hope you guys had a nice thanksgiving. ...and enjoying your new toys you got from this am's black friday sale. for me, going to spend the entire day at home continuing my re-organization in the basement and planning the furniture for the living room. i think we're going to get a 60+" sharp LCD and new set of furniture to go along with it.

no motoring today as i dont trust the crazy shoppers texting, eating, calling while driving. will pull out my Z tomorrow.

After doing more organization, decided I wanted to get blinds for the basement windows vs the curtains we had the last 9yrs.

So, changed my mind and went to homedepot with my kid to pickup some blinds and also some shelves that were on sale for a super deal.

Was expecting the roads and store to be crowded... Was almost like any other Sunday evening. Lol

went motoring in my z this am and was a good drive. i encountered 2 extremes today... one a civilian mom in a minivan driving slow on the twisty expressway ramp and despite her slow speed, i could see her leaning WAAAAY right in her seat while making the right turn. hahaha. i was like no lady, you need to go much faster then that.

then the other a redneck hillbilly at a stop light flooring his pos dodge pickup truck next to me when the light turned green. lol hahaha. i just watched in amazement that it didn't blow up. there's this wooded area i like to drive and it's at the brink of civilization so we sometimes encounters these rednecks in their pickup trucks.

it looks like it's going to be nice tomorrow too, so going to motor my z again.

after lunch finished up laundry and after taking my nap went downstairs to see where my wife was with the organization.

She hadn't progressed much so went motoring in my G for a quick spin.

Got back, took my FitS to the stores again to pickup more shelves with my kid. too bad the one I wanted was already out of stock. Got some other ones.

Shall repeat tomorrow.

Damn it, weatherchannel lied and its wet outside. I'm too lazy to wash my cars so don't want to take them out in the rain.

Back when I was younger and no kids and lots of free time, I use to drive my hobby cars even in the salt and just wash afterwards. No longer have that kinda energy. Hahahaha...sigh...

So this am I played some piano and made supper for tomorrow night. wife's got some work to do afterhours from home so I need to be Mr.Mom...

If it dries up later on today I shall pull out my Z for a quick spin and gas her up.

No luck today, was wet all afternoon.

Decided to go to the Container store to pickup some stuff for the wife in my FitS as a substitue for my Sunday drive.

As for the motoring itself, wasn't bad at all. Just needs another 200hp. hahahaha

Then at the store the airhead caucasian lady cracked me up when I asked for her help to locate inventory in the back.

As we were walking up to the product I wanted her see and check, there was an Asian girl about my age looking at something else in the same aisle. The store clerk immediately started talking to her as if the Asian girl was my wife. Lol. The girl was like huh?!

I snickered and waited while the lady was explaining to the girl very slowly that all the products she was looking at are stacked up above the display (as if she was talking to a 3yr old). The Asian girl was like no shit, I don't need your help. hahaha.

When the lady was done explaining, I waved to her 'over here! ' and pointed at the stuff I wanted her to check.
hahaha. Man did the clerk turn red.

after I checked out, I went to the lady again and said 'thanks again for your help ' and she looked so embarrassed she didn't even want to make eye contact. hahaha

Anyway, this is the kind of 'soft' racial discrimination us Asians experience on a daily basis in our lives.

and gassed up my FitS.

so this pm i saw this sporty looking wagon and upon closer look it had the same
3 diamond logo as my pencil (mitsubishi). it was some lancer wagon or something.

i think people that buy that wagon will quickly see that the rear slope dont do well
for cargo space. why people buy those low sloped crossovers beats me. i suppose
if it was sporty or luxury like the FX50 i can understand, but why buy a economy
wagon that cant really do the things most practical folks need?

i think people will be much happier just getting a true small wagon like the FitS
or even the newer xB's then that 'not sure wat the hell the engineers were thinking'
economy (yet not so economical/useful) wagon car thingie.
