did swap out the wheels on my G's to summers.

and took her out for a quick test drive. car started and drove like it was driven all winter long. was hibernating for 3months, so not too long.

so after looking tirelessly at new cars i got tired and decided to keep my current lineup. hahaha.

so i ordered up some new a/s floor mats (my factory one has a hole where my left heel pivots for the clutch). i was like damn... also getting some maintenance stuff like oil/intake filter, etc. etc. since i couldn't do the oil change last weekend i think im going to keep my M110 filter for my Z and use the honda factory blue one coming to me. hahahahahaha.

also gotz intake filter for my G coming in and also the in-cabin filter for the Z.

for the Z, nissan put a slot and catridge for the in-cabin filter just above the blower for my 2009, yet there is no filter inside.... but on the 2010 370z's it's listed in the spec as 'new in-cabin filter.' wtf. hahaha. so ordered up a fram cabin filter for $15 and im on my way to 2010 specs. lol

motored my Z today, was great!

finally did my oil change today on my FitS. was a perfect day to do it too... about 60F, sunny, barely any wind. also swapped out the intake air filter (man, was it filthy, car actually responds better now!) and also the floormats are new again.

vac'ed the car so i need to now wash the car, rotate the tires, and put new lugs on.

also need to swap out the snows to factory wheels again on the GE.

going to install the in-cabin filter for the Z later on tonight.

installed the Z's cabin filter (now 2010 spec....lol), G's intake filter was replaced today, and rotated FitS's tires, installed new replacement lugs from my buddy Alex over at TireRack.

its been a very good couple of days for car care.

Dang on the cracked wheels and flats.

This time of year lots of potholes from winter destruction...

Going to motor my G this am and then head off to work.

so after doing the rotation my FitS sounds like the front bearing is gone... probably the front driver side. i think the bearing IS dead... the tires i put on the front this time has like 99% tread left so much quieter.

will get that checked out too when i get the recall notice. that and clutch.

hoping all the snow melts and rains a few times this week in time for next weekend when i pull out my hobby cars again.

finally go the recall notice... need to setup an appointment with the dealer for that and the bearing.... and the clutch.

hope it doesnt take too long. i suppose the clutch can wait since it's not slipping but the shudder is pretty annoying.

i look at my schedule and looks like this:

Mon = way busy
Tues = too busy
Wed = major busy
Thurs = completely booked
Fri = wrapping up, still too buzy
Sat = busy, completely booked
Sat = busy, completely booked, but dealer's closed anyway.

so, looks like it's going to be a while before my car gets fixalized.
