I love the carbon fiber work you've done on your Fit. Is this sheeting easy to work with? I have that chrome piece on the back of the hatch with the Mugen logo. I want to cover it over in CF do you think that it would be hard to cover? Does this stuff hold up since it is going on an exterior piece?

Thanks!

Cat :x

Thanks, Cat! Yah, the CF sheet adheres very well to shiny flat surfaces so it should work. If you're planning to wrap over the mugen logo, depending on how tall the logo is it may not wrap correctly. With heat it can wrap pretty well but not sure about an entire logo. I would make a cutout for it.

As for durability, it is made for interior and exterior use. A lot of folks use it to wrap their roofs. I wrapped my Z's B-pillar with this stuff and expecting to last 5-6yrs. If daily driven, it should last a good 3-4yrs.

Check out the link I posted above. They have lots of info on this stuff (and other colors too! )

Stalled the FitS this am. Lol! Can't remember the last time stalled a car.

Very damp ikky hot morning + R/R crossing bumpy rails + a/c turning on suddenly while going over one of the bumpy rails = clunk! hahaha

Gotz my CF roll again today. now waiting for the sun to go down a little so I can make a template for the G's rear valance. it's too hot outside.

Tried the CF wrap on my G's rear valance. Although it turned out okay, it just didn't look right with the rest of the car (lowered with wheels but sleeper look...the bumper looked out of place) so decided to remove it. Lol! gotta luv these wraps cause you can Control-Z (undo).

White driving my FitS this am, its donkyarse A-Pillar completely blocked an entire garbage truck that was approaching diagnally at me. Almost had a low speed crash. these wide a-pillars are a stupid design.

Hahaha! .

Would look perfect on our white GE's too. if it wasn't parked outdoors 24/7 I would do the hoods too.

gotz my ship conf for the next CF roll...

here is the G's rear valance i did a few days ago (but ended up removing due to not matching the theme of the car). just wanted to brag how clean i got the lines to meet the valance top indent area. hahaha. the rest it just took heat and patience to wrap around.

Hey kenchan

I was wondering if you could confirm something for me. The stock turn signal bulb and adapter in the 2010 Fit doesn't fit the headlight I swapped to. A person online, I linked to from another thread (dual halo hid? I'd put the link, but I'm on my iPod so it kinda hard to do). In any case, that person said the hole is sized for the 07-08 model. I'm willing to buy it, but I wanted to know if the 1st gen bulb adapter plugs into the 2nd gen wiring.

Goobers- sorry, I don't know off-hand! but if it's wiring I would just use my own spade connectors and plug them in, e-tape it.

If it's the housing you're referring to, then it will be harder but some silicon glue or 3M VHB mounting tape should work.

I was hoping you could pull out one turn signal bulb/adapter from one Fit and try to plug it into the other Fit (not the housing, just the wiring).

Well, in any case, I think I'll just order the part then figure something out. If I end up putting my own spade connector and wire, then that might be a good thing. That way, I have something to splice and wire up the LEDs I have.

Thanks.
