been out all afternoon pretty much with my FitS and wife and kids on-board. we all had fun... kids were playing with their friends, wife went shopping, i was motoring my FitS. i wind up the car real good deep into vtec often.

 

its nice driving a clean car. looks great with black tires again (hadn't been dressed since Thanksgiving last year. hahaha! )

 

hummm... looks like someone threw something at my car (rear door) or i forgot to wipe down an area of the panel when i spray waxed.... either way, i need it to rain.

 

no rain yet... hey, i gotz a new snapper the other day. should take some snaps of my FitS's. just a cheezo one.

 

gotz rain! my car is clean(?) again. hahaha.

.... need to wash my Fit's again this weekend.

 

damn it, need more rain. the crap is still on my door. hahaha.

 

My wish was granted... . But now, the entire weekend looks like rain. hahaha!

So looks like its going to be a FitS motoring weekend. I need to find some time to get the front wheelbearing fixed... Looks like it's going to be another super buzy month for May... Wish my local dealer had free loaners. Will check another dealer across town.

 

Was a pretty shitty Saturday for me but I'm still here so I guess it couldve been much worse.

although it was a rainy weekend i didnt feel like motoring too much so worked out for me. this coming saturday is all booked with kids stuff so probably wont get a chance to motor, sunday if things are looking nice i'll take them out.

there's a lot of MAJOR construction going on in my area so not sure how "enjoyable" it's going to be... hahaha

 

reading my blog i reminded myself i need to call up the dealer across town if they would give me a free loaner for the recall and wheel bearing fix...

 

im happy to report 2 local rice shops have closed down in our area. one only had replica crap and the other one was more of a universal type one-stop-shop for normal folks. both had pretty crappy service, high prices for junk available online for like 1/2 their price.

im happy to see less and less rice these days and i hope that generation phases out.
the bad economy has brought good for the car enthusiast, i think. most kids cant afford to buy these universal fitment crapage and leaves their mom's cars alone.

although im driving a budget car to work everyday, i dont want see or hear fart cans on honda's. especially irritated by other Fit drivers that blare their fart cans when they see me. wtf's with that anyway?

got a 3day weekend coming. going to try to motor as much as possible... given the weather is nice.

my wife handed me a 25% off coupon from Coach... yikes... hahaha

 

not much car action today.

trying to get a pair of hood dampers for my Z. reason why it's important for me is after every weekend run i plug the car battery to my battery manager and it's kind of a pain to prop it each time especially knowing that i can't open the z's hood too wide because the washer holes get pulled. so one less thing to think about.

i keep the hood open for a good 10-15min before i plug it in to cool off the engine.

 

hummmm....weatherchannel is telling me that my 3 day weekend is going to be partially rained out.
2 out of 3 days. oh wellz. im going to try to pull out the Z tomorrow and watever i can on sun/mon
for the G.

i just hate washing cars so i dont want to get them dirty and then have to get
them back to 'just detailed' show car appearance. much simpler not to drive them.

actually i dont remember the names of the shop but it was nearby. i rarely shopped there because i dont buy replica's and those accessories crap like cheezy interior LED lights you plug in and junk shift knobs and stuff.

the nicer shops are still around... the ones that sell the stuff we use.

another request... please get rid of corn shops... this am some redneck in an (get this) AT camaro SS (some old pos with the wrong sized wheel offset and sidewall) wanted to race my 370Z and blarred is pos sounding garbage disposer while i was accelerating normally from the light.

i was like go you pos american garbage (at the car), fastAr fastAr! (cause it's a cop infested street)... yet no cops when you need them. WTF!
