Rattles cannot be fixed - don't buy a FIT
SI is running great. Smooth, quick. I like taking Altima 3.5's. They are surprised when the Civic dogs em. It is a fun car, if you like high revs that 8,000 redline and I-vtec kicking in is a blast.
i do believe another member has a quote on their signature that says something like "dont argue with fools because from a distance others cant tell who is who"
i love my fit, talking smack about my fit is like talking smack about me.
your fit may suck, mine doesnt.
and opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one and yours stinks.
education is the key, and your locked out.

i dont know if its only in cold weather, but in florida i have no rattles, my only real issue is with the paint. i have owned integras and civics, and they made more noise then my fit. there is another member on here who had a bad experience with the mazdaspeed3 but did not tell everyone not to buy it, he just got a bad one, and also to many fender benders on his part, but my friend has the ms3 with no problems.
really V6 altima... thats interresting
What do you expect from a $15,000 B segment car? I doubt you're going to find any other car for the same price that will be quiet on the highway and completely rattle free.
And for the record I have no rattles and I get 33mpg city.

I used to SWEAR by it. I thought it was the greatest stuff ever. Then I realized it eats away at wipers like mad. It must break down the rubber. Of course, if you have it on hand and re-apply, it's no big deal as you may never need your wipers.
The end of my love affair with Rain-X was when I noticed my windshields looking horrible, even when totally clean. It was almost as if there were millions of really tiny pits in it. Driving west in the evening became murder. I mentioned it to a mechanic friend and he said he had heard it from several people. My last car that had the awful windshield caught a huge rock...I got it replaced and gave up on Rain-X.
The Fit IS NOT A OFF ROAD vehicle. I never drove mine off road and never will. A Subaru would fit you better then the Fit. Everybody has an opinion and i respect your's, but some of your info is somewhat false. Just to let you know i average 35mpg in my AT, and most people get 30 or above. So no, the AT doesnt get horrible MPG unless you think 30MPG is horrible. Just because the shop thats working on your car sucks, dont think the car sucks.

change your dealership........
I'm pretty certain the OP is long gone - for one of two reasons. 1) they didn't get the support they expected - IMO how could they given such aggressive statements - or 2) they're simply trolling, baiting us into responses by making such statements in order to get a response like this, which they succeeded. Either way, I'd vote to put case closed on all this - it's clear that despite what shortcomings the Fit may have, the point is already well made that you can't expect perfection from a b-segment automobile, even if it rates so high within it's own market. And as said before, 98% of fit owners are quite content, and there are plenty of cars out there worse off, and plenty more that will far surpass the Fit in quality and performance, with higher costs. But ultimately the Fit has found a happy medium between value and quality and I think we can all agree that a few low points are well worth the sacrifice of owning a car that despite it's ~16K price tag "feels like a million bucks"
And to Terry - if you read this still, I'd suggest rather then posting in forum like this, express your concerns to Honda directly, and leave it at that - while I doubt it will make any substantial impact, at least your words will carry the most weight that way - here on the forums ultimately you will be at odds more often then not in a place where members are by and large content with their cars.
