Same here...the factory Honda front plate doesn't leave holes in the front bumper. BTW, mine came from Mall of GA Honda

I take delivery of mine tomorrow afternoon. Most AZ dealers don't put on a front bracket so we will see.

Mine wasnt drilled thru the bumper until I got into a minor accident and got the bumper replaced/ The guys at the Honda body shop thought of it as "better support and not falling off", so now im stuck with a bumper with a hole in the middle

mine does not have a hole per say... but it does have little grooves drilled into it for "teeth" on the mount for my plate... was not happy it was there... but the parents were the ones who actualy sealed the deal, so it was in their hands and they insisted on a front plate... ewwww

My car was still wrapped up when I went to the dealership for an oil change on my Civic. Saw it sitting back there so I took it for a test drive. Got approved on the spot so went home with temp plates since they ran out of plates in-house. PDI guys had no reason to mount the front bracket so I got out of having a nice hole on my bumper.
