that accident looks really bad...you should talk to your insurance and see if you can get a new FIT . if not id do the front end conversion.

yeah hit and runs are no no. but the kid was scared.

dude sorry to hear about the Fit... that damage looks pretty bad. on the bright side they kid did fess up... lets hope this was his wake up call and the worst thing he does. Good luck with the repairs... let us know how it goes!

Update - Total Cost to repair...

Heard back from the auto body shop today - the cost to repair the Fit is $6,600...I asked them about totaling the car but the insurance companies have some percentage based on the value of the car.

Anyhow - the good part is they are putting all Honda parts back into it (that is one reason they indicated the price is so high) - have to drive the Chevy Cobalt one more week...ugh.

ewwwww a cobalt yucky... well the fun thing is u can tool around (away from other cars of course) and not have to worry about tires!
