Anybody make fun of your Fit?
I like to say, I really love my car but honestly it's JUST a Fit, and then I give people rides. Most people are really suprised with it. I think they laugh at my car for being on rims and lowered and having exhaust, just because it is no common around here and does not look like a sports car. Can't wait till I can afford a supercharger though.
Favorite thing about the fit? Cops hate em so far where I am from, never even had a popo look at my car yet ^_^ . That to me is a good thing, we can do all sorts of fun stuff to our cars and they are not of high priority!

I went back to my old work place to talk to some old work buddies, & one guy came out and asked, "What does a fit cost...like 10grand or something?"
I told him that he could buy something korean or OLD Honda for that price.

Please - a Fit being made fun of...
Try driving a 1973 AMC Germlin during high school and most of college and see what kind of comments you hear...makes the Fit look like a GT-R.
Cannot be any worse than the 00 Echo I am buzzing around in now - now that is ugly.

They made fun of my Fit a year ago when I first got it, but as gas prices have gone up. I am the one laughing now as everyone just walks up asking how my mpg is. They also cry when I tell them it only costs me about 35 bucks for a fill up. 
omg i get so much crap about driving a Fit... then i take people for a ride and they shut up... i mean the fit is no race car... i never say it is, yes it looks a bit goofy, but w/e it still is a ton of fun to drive, gets amazing gas mileage, and does everything i need it to do, would it be nice to have a super fast expensive car? sure... but i couldnt afford the gas or insurence! so ill stick with my fit! lol

, crotch rockets ftwDown in Miami though I always got compliments, even from the rich folks driving Benzes and Rolls (Yes, an old guy in a Rolls said my Fit was "really, really Nice")
People think it's cute and incredibly roomy.

Though I haven't had any derogatory remarks, I've had a surprising number of gawkers... They've mostly been teen girls. I guess that's kind of an insult in itself to a 33 y/o guy.
I don't care what anyone might say about it - the Fit could very well be the best car I've owned, in terms of being both a sporty and exceedingly practical ride.

i work in an emergency room, i had a patient come in and i noticed his i love jdm shirt so we started talking about cars. when i told him i had a fit he told me that fits looked like suppositories on wheels. i actually that it was funny.
but there is this one chick i work with who always calls it an aveo because she knows how much it pisses me off.
i would rather be known as the giant pill that goes up your butt with wheels than an aveo.

All (well, most) of my friends drive v-dubs, so theyre ALWAYS knockin me simply cuz i drive a "Hon-duhhh"... Yet my little 1.5 annihilates their 2.0's every single time...
Anybody can talk all the $hit they want, its cuz they dont know jack about our cars. If they had an IQ higher than a jar of mayonaise, they'd know to keep their mouths shut cuz MY car is far superior no matter what they say....
BTW an old lady driving a brand new M6 asked me at a light the other day,"what kinda car is that?" "omg its so cute!", etc etc... made me

i admit,i laughed when two of my 6-foot plus caucasian co-workers sat in the front seats of the first units we got in our service dept.-these two guys were literally shoulder against shoulder.
BUT,i got a rude awakening when i drove a manual tranny Fit(after the pdi),it reminded me of my crg-kalikart back in '89-'90. very nimble!So i priced one out and i'm seriously considering using my '01 Ody as a trade- in.

My Corolla-driving roommate makes fun of mine, but he's a douche anyway. He makes fun of almost any product I own. I've driven his car before, and the experience is forgettable, unlike my Fit. Can't wait to get my Eibachs installed to make my driving experiences better!

He should realize that he was dumb enough to buy a fu**ing mustang. I love american muscle just as much as my fit, but there are like a billion mustangs on the road. He just has the same car every other bast*** I know. Don't sweat it man.
I get tons of compliments on my Fit and I would never trade it for a mustang.
