which wire to use on lower driver left kick panel for hardwire

which wire to use on lower driver left kick panel for hardwire

i'm hardwiring my garmin nuvi, and i need to know which wire to splice to on the driver left kick panel.

any suggestions would be awesome!

Here's my fuse panel, and you can see where I tapped into fuse location 5 to power my lumbar support. Location 5 is only hot when the ignition is on. If you want a line that's always hot, you can use 18-20. You can use any location with the ADD-A-LINE because it just piggybacks the fuse location. Since there were open locations, I just used one of them.

thanks! so are 18-20 always hot, even when the car is off? i want the radio to turn off when the car goes off.

Yup, 18, 19, and 20 are always hot, even when the ignition is in the off position. If you want a source that turns on and off with the ignition, then use number 5 like I did in the picture.
