Engine Cooling Fan not coming on?

I have a '07 Fit Sport AT and love it.

In all this time I have never had the engine cooling fan come on/stay on AFTER I turn off the ignition and exit the vehicle. Is this normal?

The engine cooling fan always comes on/stays on when we get out of our '03 Honda Civic Hybrid (whether we use the a/c or not).

We live near Vegas, so it is always warm, although I almost never use the a/c.

So my question is... does the Fit indeed have an engine fan that is supposed to come on when the engine is hot and the car is turned off?
Do I need to take my Fit in and have it checked out (I have not mod'd this Fit nor do we drive it hard by any means)?

TIA

It takes some time for the fan to come on. I know Ive let my car sit for a while; about 10-15min on a hot day before the fan comes on. Sometimes I leave my car running while taking pics.

This is without the A/C on. With the A/C on the fan kicks on at least 1 time per minute. It cycles a lot. It sometimes bothers me.

Yes theres a fan, yes it works.
No it doesnt comes on with the key off. Or at least mine has never done this?

As long as the little temperature light doesnt flash and the beeper goes off everythings fine.
Enjoy the car.
