For example I'm driving back to school this evening and some teenager in a NHBP starts lining up to race, I drive my normal tortoise speed as he floors it ~65 in a 40.

I'm just wondering how many people do you guys see abusing their fit?
I've yet to see more than one SINGLE decent fit driver, and about 2/5 of the fits I see have had some kind of body damage.

Aw, I feel like I'm one of these angry Fit drivers you describe, lol. I'm stressed and have been suffering from a lot of "road rage" lately; I've been cutting people off like mad in traffic. I know some of my moves are dumb, but I get so irked in heavy city traffic. Gah.
And, my back bumper on the passenger's side is all screwed up because I'm stupid and banged it while I was backing up in a parking lot. No money to fix it yet, though as soon as I get some extra, I'm going to. There's other minor damage that isn't my fault, like small door dings from jerks and scuffs from where the stupid garabage workers left the cans in the street after emptying them, and they all scraped against the front of my car; boo
I feel so ashamed I have to reform. I don't want to eff up my car, especially since I do love it and have so much fun driving it.
I used to wave at fellow Fit drivers all the time when the car first came out, and I used to get waves and admiring glances in return. Now? It's so common in the Philly/South Jersey areas that it's almost like owning any other car - no one really cares. It's sad. I still get excited seeing other Fits, but I don't think other drivers do.
I don't notice other Fits driving aggressively, though (I think I'm the worst offender on that front, heh.). I do notice some with bumper scratches and the like, but this is a major city, and other people are going to eff up your car with dings and scratches, even if you're super careful, with parallel parking and getting all tight on your bumper.
So, I do love my Fit, even though you may think "Careless bad unappreciative driver" if you see the bumper scrapes (which makes me cringe, because I'm so not!). If you see a VBP Fit with a few bumper scratches speeding in Philly or South Jersey, and you're in your car, wave! It'll probably make me feel better and remind me to slow down and not be dumb, hehe
