I'll be getting one of those for sure!

It looks as though your armrest is a proper center console, starting at the shifter. It also appears the armrest part of it is not so far to the rear I might even be able to use it. At only about 5'5", I sit too far forward to be able to use the rest in some cars. If you can get us the part number, that will be my first "mod."

Thanks Dojo!

Too bad the gas mileage is so low. For that size and weight of a car to be so much lower than a Prius II or Civic hybrid, means I will get another Insight (165 Kmi - 64 Lmpg and going strong ) instead to replace our 95 Accord.

Agree with the "likes" such as versatile cargo space, good mpg, and reminiscent of the old Civic, especially the 1985-86 wagon (sigh). Since I live where it's flat, I like the low ground clearance -- I have an arthritic old dog (and ramps make him nervous). SUVs, even "cross-over," just don't do it for me. If Honda decides to bring the Airwave (wagon) over, I might trade my Fit in. Subaru makes a nice wagon, but it is ridiculously expensive -- and AWD is overkill in some parts of the country, my area included.

As long as the interior doesn't overheat, I can live with the black/grey combo. Anyone check out Honda.dog? They show how easy it is to clean pet hair off the Fit/Jazz upholstery. My kinda car!

Heard complaints that the Jazz needed after-market soundproofing. Hope that's not an issue with the Fit.

Likes:
- Honda reputation for quality.
- Made in Japan
- Interior nicer than Scion xA, Chevy Aveo, etc.
- More interior space than Scion xA, Chevy Aveo, etc.(and more versatile space).
- Good gas mileage. Highway mileage could be better, but I'm guessing the manual is geared more for somewhat sporty driving and thus the 5th gear isn't very tall.
- Fairly low price.
- Aux 3mm Input Jack on stereo.

Dislikes:
- Looks. It's OK, but as someone else said on this thread, the wheel wells are too small. It isn't nearly as aggressive-looking as the Scion xA and reminds me more of the Chevy Aveo.
- Does it even have an exhaust pipe? You can't even see it. I guess this goes back to the looks of the car.
