What's wrong with my breaks?

Just a thought:
Sometimes disc brakes will squeal or whistle, unless you use some of the "disc brake quiet" adhesive, which secures the pads to the calipers (lightly).
Or maybe your breaks are broke.
By the way, my Fit has 71K miles and I have not needed brake pads yet. My driving is mostly highway, though.
