Fit Name

I have a BOM Fit sport named "Penny" for short, full name: "Miss Moneypenny" She's definitely the sexy librarian type!

I swear I'm not copying you, jake9n, (lol) but just yesterday I FINALLY saw the blaze orange metallic colour and I'm totally in love with it. And...I pre-named my BOM Fit 2b Penny... because she looks like a bright new copper Penny. Also, my mom owned a 1976 Pacer that was copper-coloured, and that was her name. So my Penny will carry on the tradition.

Miss Moneypenny is even better though. Good thinking!

I'm calling mine 'The Enema'. Metaphorical reference as to what my country needs (USA), and how my car represents it.

I have named my Black 07' Fit Sport 'The Short Bus'

I'm just glad that I get to DRIVE the short bus instead of riding in the back drooling all over myself...

I wanted a yellow Fit Sport. Then I was going to get personalized plates that said "Short Bus".

Not sure what I'll be calling mine yet.

** Edit. I see someone on the 2nd page had the same idea. LOL! **

Trying to capture the true character of the FIT (getting ever closer, now incarceated at the local railway freight yard, due for delivery to me next week)
car will have same name as my late lamented 86 Civic station wagon Noddymobile named after the utterly square open tourer owned by Noddy of U.K's BBC childrens TV fame.

1990 Eclipse Turbo, red with a black roof : "the eclipse", or if i was feeling saucy "theclipse"
2001 Toyota Celica GTS , silver: "Celica" (no "the", she was too hot to be an object)
2003 Mazda Protege 5, laser blue : P5, PeeFizzive or PeeFizzle, or Protege
2005 Subaru WRX, world rally blue : Rex, or WRX (again, if im feeling saucy)
2007 Honda Fit, hopefully blaze orange: either "FIT" or "LOL" or "Hat" (meaning "hot" with an accent, haha)

Hey all,

Here are some of my cars that earned names...
80's Gold-brown Tercel: Peppy (AKA the Golden Turd)
'78 Sky-Blue Civic hatchback Hondamatic: Spot
'83 Red Civic hatchback 5-Speed: Spot II
'67 Crappy-Custom Ultra-Dark Blue VW bus: The Bat-Van
'86 Tick-Blue CRX: Spoon!
'93 Boring-White Loyale: Arthur (being replaced by the Fit)
'03 Red Pro5: Rosie (keeping this one)

My Black Sport AT Fit (which might even arrive tomorrow!) is still unnamed. She, he, or it may be called Spot III. More likely, though, the name will be F'It, as in, "F' this, F' that... F' It all, man." Not so much angry as resigned and relaxed.

i'd only text messaged one of my friends about my new car and the first time i saw her she asked if that was my new "F-I-T" (spelled out like a CRX). my bf and i almost died laughing. so now even though my new baby's name is fifi we are prone to calling her the F-I-T.

So, now that I got my Black Sport Fit today I might name him "Satan's Little Helper" since it's 06/06/06.

What'd you name your fit?
