Got a silver Fit Sport . She is truly a small jewel, best most fun car I have ever had. A head turner. Girlfriend called it poopsie and it stuck.

Just had a '06 Honda Element ex-p atomic blue that was named HUEBERT. I went as far as to put a decal of his name on it. as for the SS Fit it replaced----probably BUZZ (you know--to infinity, and beyond...) or Silver Surfer, or HiHo Silver--AWAY!

(This is my first post although I've lurked here since I ordered my Fit on Nov. 1st. I sat in my Fit tonight!!! After one year and two days of selling my car and riding a bicycle everywhere, I get my Fit on Tuesday.)

I named him Gluestick Joe. Because I thought he was pretty ugly...as ugly as a horse that needs put out to pasture. But I love him.

I always name cars. My husband's car is an orange Element, and we named him Gossamer after the big orange monster in Bugs Bunny cartoons.

Here's the first picture of Gluestick Joe. Yay!

Haven't read all the replies, so I don't know if I've stolen anyone's ideas. If I did, then I apologize in advance. Off the top of my head, I'm currently deciding on: Fifi (pronounced Fee-fee, no reference), Fiona (no reference), Ororo (after the X-man character Storm, which my car has a Storm Silver Metallic paintjob), or possibly Silver (in reference to my paintjob of course, but also in reference to Long Ranger's horse). Thinking of having personalized plates using the car's nickname when my plates are up for renewal.

Yep, my storm silver fit is a replacement for a 200k '85 honda civic wagon. Similar dimensions and driving style, though more poop and better mileage.

My 2 year old named it "Sparky" which seems to have stayed around. When I forget to put on the seat belt and the car beeps, she (my daughter) yells out "Sparky is yelling at you dad"!!!

Pretty funny if you ask me.

FitlesS: LOL! that's awesome.

My little black fit is named Neuman... named by my wife who has wanted a black guinea pig named Neuman for her entire life. The name stuck 'cause, let's face it, the car looks like a guinea pig. More often than not though, now we just call it guinea pig, or piggy... and when it's revvin goin up hills we cry out to it wee wee wee!

Not entirely sure why but she's named Fay... It just kinda stuck.

Don't know if they sold them in the states, but up in Canada, we were able to get a little stuffed monkey with an orange t-shirt that said "Fit" on it... If the car is Fay, the monkey HAS to be Kong... Cute that Fay is carrying Kong around this time.

(Fay Wray played Ann Darrow in the original King Kong...)

That's what my wife says. Every car she's named, it's met an untimely death.

The cars that I've named have been:
2002 Yellow WRX - Raichu (it was the fighting persona of the little yellow Pokemon Picachu)
2003 Solid Gold Mini Cooper - Goldilocks
1999 Integra GSR - Teg
1997 Miata - Rooata (wife's car that I named for her, Roo from Winnie the Pooh fame)

A friend of mine had a yellow beetle named Jackson, which always seemed right.

I'm surprised nobody with a WT has mentioned "Stay-Puff" or "Michelin Man".

I'm waiting for my BOM/5MT to arrive before I select a name. Need to see if it's a boy or a girl. =:^)

Mine is known around time as "The Titty". or, if you wanna get really creative, you can call her the sexy titty. Tit also works if your not feeling up to producing a two syllable name.

And yes, I get lots of odd looks when I talk about "my tit". Fit... tit.. it works!
