What motivates/inspires you to modify your jazz/fit?
I look at ways to improve the looks of the car by keeping some things subtle, other things tasteful and other things the way it "could've" looked from the factory with a bit more cooking.
I also see what others have done here too, I mean think about it, what's an original idea nowadays anyways

My motivation for modifying, really there isn't anything. No matter what car I have owned, they were modified to some extent and the Fit is no different from all my previous Hondas. I don't look at it as wasting money, I look at it as enjoying my car more than how Honda delivered it to me and as long as I have a passion for driving, really driving, than this car and future ones will be modified to what my wallet will allow.
I never did tint until I purchased the Fit and then it woke up the inner tuner in this older lady! LOL! I have to say that Marcs MR Fit in Siphon magazine was the inspiration that sent me over the edge. I love! love! driving my Fit with modifications and not driving a car that looks like everything out there on the streets. Makes life fun and hey my favorite moto is " I'd rather drive a slow car fast, than a fast car slow".

It's fine in flip-flops, sneakers, casual shoes. In my thick soled, bulky combat boots to/from work, it's bearable, but not great.
It probable started with STTICH's Fit. His car was the first cleanly modded Fit I saw and that is when I fell in love with the car. The rest came form inspiration from this site or just my own personal taste. I would say also that about 5% of the motivation also comes form the positive comments I get on my car. Obviously Im not modding my car so that every one will love it but when I get people outside of the Fit community telling me they like my car then I must be doing something right.
