Im talkin to all drunk drivers. I've been hit by multi dd's. I've lost a few good friends to these horrible people ( good hard working people with family and kids). So when people say they drive drunk. I get pist, and they need to grow the f up.

Culture, values, relaxed lisense requirements...On and on and on.
Most of all, human nature of (not necessarily young) people not realizing the consequence of their actions until it's too late. I'm sure many of these people have brushed off all warnings from other people with "tight butted nerds", "live a little", "what are the chances" until they are involved in accidents such as this. Fortunately for this woman, no fatality. My condolences to all who has lost innocent people to irresponsible ones.

i guess i can make some people mad at the things i say in this site...look i am sorry for your experience with this matter of drunk drivers...i admitted my experience of driving like that for a reason...the mind works in different ways...we all have flaws and all of us are not perfect...i realized that those minimum times of driving drunk was idiotic and careless for myself and for others...i have fixed the matter and am more respondsible. Only some poeple can say that...the ones that kill are the ones that dont realize it and have catastrophic endings. That 2nd time that i drove after drinking to much in my FIT and got home safe i thanked GOD for getting me home. Since then i have not and will not lose self control. We all make mistakes in life...i just dont want to be in that category of killing an innocent life. I speak the truth yo...and again sorry for your experience...your not the only one thats lost someone to a drunk driver...it is sad

Paulo, Paulo, Paulo. I am a reformed drunk driver (as stated in a different thread) who had the good fortune to have never hurt anyone else or gotten pinched. Be careful, be very careful. My wife got snagged for DUI right before our wedding, and the resulting financial nightmare was horrible (and that is the least of your worries - what if you hurt someone else's child). No flames, not much preaching, just free advice. Be careful. Besides, just imagine your fit looking like the one in the photo?!
its tough yo, but you can get out of it when you notice its a problem...like i said i knew that is was a problem so i am more careful when i go out...sorry about your wife, but it seems like bad things happen right b4 that special day...

At least the news article didn't say "the car went out of control" like all the articles here in Australia. Our cars must drive themselves because the car always goes out of control, nothing to do with the driver.

That's true... so true...

and seeing how Berekely is the liberal capital of the left coast, I bet the drunk woman will blame it on something else... maybe her daddy didn't love her enough, or she drove away her boyfriend, and she was forced to drink and then drove... heheheh

Thanks for the sentiment, but don't feel sorry for her. A few thousand bucks wasted is nothing compared to a lifetime of shame and resentment had she hurt someone. She was actually very lucky.
