Yeah I decided to not get the BMW a while ago, just can't afford it haha...I'm still a student. Good points though...kinda like what Top Gear thinks of the M3...great car, excellent driver's car, [British_Accent]but only blokes with Bluetooth headsets who are absolute cocks drive them[/British Accent]...according to Clarkson anyways

Seems like alot for such a small car! It is really nice though.
According to BMW USA the 128i Coupe starts at $28,600 USD and the 135i Coupe starts at $34,900 USD.
So with that...Id say the 128i would be well over $40 grand here.

it will probably start at about 10k more than those prices here.
With that said good luck on finding a "base" model 135i or 128i, just like any BMW it will already be loaded with a bunch of packages and different wheels and all that.
I would expect the 135i to be around 45-50k out the door. I wonder if it will flop like the c230 Kompressor did.

I never really liked the Kompressor, too heavy and not enough power to make it competitive with other cars in that class. Others might have a different opinion, but it never made my short list for something I would buy. The thing that pisses me off most is the retards down at Mercedes decided not to offer a manual tranny on anything with reasonable power on it.
From my observations the 1 series BMW is targeting a whole different demographic; specifically early 3 and 2002 series owners and like minded people. The older 3 series cars used to be a lot smaller and the driving feel was more direct. Over the last 20 or so years the 3 series has grown and grown into a much larger sedan. Don't get me wrong, the newer 3 series cars are a nothing short of fantastic; however given the choice I prefer a smaller sports car. I used to own a little orange 1981 320i, I have to admit this new 1 series is really pulling on my heart strings.
Yeah if I had to guess I would say this is probably the lowest your going to see them for, when I priced out a 135i on the US website it came to 37K.... so in Canada.... well if you follow historical trends for BMW 50K is probably not even including the tax

LOL I agree...post of the month and Chico has my vote!
LOL that Camaro is going to be badass, black on black! Very nice choice! When is the ETA on the Camaro?
I won't need that front stabilizer bar, I have other tricks up my sleeve hehe...

i would only bring a fit, well maybe an teg when the fit is in parts...but that is about as far as i would go for fear of dishonouring the Fit and all the fine people that own and luv these cars!
Chico would not approve of you not showing up in a Fit. No magic for you!
Dave didn't you show up at the last meet without your Fit? or so I've been told.
I know JDMish was talking about an install soon maybe reconfirm with him.
I just bought the jdm console with armrest that will fit my LX but won't have it before the meet
