So I placed my order yesterday via my stupid Iphone and somehow I ended up with 2 orders. I left a message to have one cancelled and George was very quick to respond. I had an email in my inbox confirming that 2 orders were placed and that one was incorrect.

+ to George for being quick on that.

How does the Hi/Lo work on a Fit than? Since we only have the one socket for the bulb? I'm thinking I may have ordered the wrong setup. Should have gone with the Bi-xenon. damnit.

I just bought a GE8 and am interested in the Bi-xenon but dont know what temp to get. What kind of labor is involved in installing something like this on the 09. My wife drives alot in the dark early in the mornings and I want her visibility to be improved over stock.

Also interested in HID fog lights. I've never done lights before. Help!

Dang, it looks like there's something wrong with the e-mail notification system on Fitfreak.. new posts but no e-mails! Lol.. anyway

Spokane: The Hi/Lo setup consists of a low-beam HID bulb and a high-beam halogen bulb. When you turn on your high-beams, the HID turns off and the halogen turns on. Hope that helps in explaining the setup.

bryanfor311: We are not familiar with 09 Fit installations, but the 08 Fit has a DIY guide posted somewhere on this forum. It's a great DIY guide with pictures and well-written instructions. It was posted by azncarbos. If you want to gain mostly visibility, we would recommend the 4300K as it is the brightest of all the HID colors. For the fogs, I believe you will need H11, although I'm not sure if the bulb size has changed from the 08 to 09 models. Thank you.

Hey to anyone with H11 HID fogs, I need help! I just got mine installed but there is no housing for the wires into the car female wires. So I temporarily taped the exposed wires. What did you guys do to house the male wires into the female? Was there suppose to be some sort of housing? I just wanted to find some solutions since rainy season is breaking in and i don't want water or debris to damage the HID wires or the car wiring.

Thanks

If remember the male is flush into the female connection and there should be a rubber circle that can push toward the connection to cover it....not 100% sure...

Also I need to know if there is any GE8 in SoCal wanting to installed HID on their Fit!! B/c I need see some fitting and installing and later DIY for the GE8!!! Please Pm'me
